What a fun project! This bed came in three large boxes and was intimidating to put together, but the instructions were literally some of the best I have ever seen. The parts were easily labeled and everything went together without issue. It is sturdy, looks great and will be enjoyed by my son for many years.

Okay firstly, this loft bed meets my expectations. It is of good quality, and made with good workmanship. Instructions were well thought out, methodical, and easy to follow and put together. Similar to IKEA, no words, but a good flow of easy to understand drawings. The bed arrived in 3 separate long boxes, in no particular order. Set-up took exactly 6 hours. Started at 9:30am and finished drilling in the last slats at 3:30pm. You will need 1 other capable adult available for 15 minutes or so, when you're piecing together the sides to each other. Tools used for set-up included: Allen wrench (different one than the one provided, we have a more ergonomic one with a handle), Phillips head screwdriver, and an electric screwdriver solely for the slats.The bed uses real wood where it counts. There are particle boards where they deemed necessary (desk, drawer, etc). At this price point, I'm not surprised. Actually, at this price point, I was surprised by how much REAL wood they included. The bed is sturdy once built. One thing I will mention is you absolutely must use a thinner than normal mattress with this loft bed. Maximum 7"-8" thick. The side boards up top are only ~13" tall, and with your average sized mattress, this is not enough of a lip to make the bed-user feel secure.I will say that I was a little disappointed by the following (minor) issues:- The LED strip fell off about 6-8 hours after attaching to the desk (see photo)- The ladder had some paint and wood chipping off at the corner of the a few steps within the first 5 times of using the ladder (see photos)- One of the particle board pieces (C9 at the base of the ladder) stripped while tightening (see photo)- If the user uses a laptop, versus a PC, it will only be able to open at 90 degrees, no more (see photo)Other than these issues, I think this bed is a good deal. Nothing was damaged during shipping, and shipped was prompt. My son loves this bed, and all the extra space it allows. It feels sturdy, and I like the side storage, bench, and display options. I'd give this bed a solid 4/5 stars. I would recommend it to others.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely awesome high quality product! My son LOVES it! One person was able to put it together and easy to follow instructions. Took 3 people to carry the very heavy delivery boxes up the stairs.

Once assembled the bed is great. Highly recommend NOT installing the flimsy and basically worthless tiny shelf over the main desk. Also highly recommend sorting the pieces by letter to ease assembly. I ordered 2 of these and both had boards that were mislabeled. Specifically A6 was labeled as B4 in both boxes leading to a solid hour of searching for the missing pieces.Again, once the bed is assembled, it's sturdy and seems to be overall good build quality. Also, those LEDs are not going to stay up without purchasing some other holders.

Bed came as promised and the kid loves the space. The Led Lights are inop and green only works fully. Bummer

Customer Service was prompt and helpful. They quickly sent me a new piece that was defective. The quality of the wood is good, just be ready to connect all the pieces together. So decide knowing if you plan to move in the future you will need to disassemble all the pieces. LED strip, make sure to clean area with alcohol prior to sticking them on. The top shelf, I used 6 L brackets to secure and it’s stable, however, the only knock I have on this product is the shelf isn’t wide enough to support a monitor. I had to get creative. I rather have no top shelf and a deeper table supporting both monitor and keyboard for ergonomic. I get it’s a kids loft bed, but it’s also a gaming loft bed right? Anyway just know, unless you wall mount the monitor, it’s not going to be stable on the top shelf. Highly recommend a mattress less than 10 inches.
