Cloud City
The material is a nice dense fibrous felt, feel of which feels very felty. Appropriately, I felt a decrease in resonance around the floating cloud once installed.Even whilst holding it in front of the face, all noise in front of me condensed as though I held a portal to an incredible distance in front of my face.It includes no mounting hardware, but it does the thing. My mixing desk felt a little bit more sonically deadened after hanging it up, even though I had not installed my rock wool panels yet.I think it looks nice. I got the gray variation because I thought cloud... Gray..My wife keeps referring to it as a giant waffle fry.

It’s just OK
Purchased this for a small space in our restaurant right above a children’s display kitchen. The area is about 6’ x 6’ and is back in the corner with walls on three side sides. I haven’t really noticed much difference in the noise level coming out of the small area. It seems to be built well, but may not work in the way we expected it to.

Works great
Really helps to stop the spread echo

Poorly shipped, mailed without any hardware, smaller than advertised
This product was mailed in a makeshift box that bent during shipping, was missing all the hardware and therefore could not be installed, and was objectively smaller than advertised. Wouldn’t feel good to spend a couple hundred to get that in the mail would it?

Quite lovely and well designed
This acoustic cloud is really cool. All the pieces came stacked flat together and all I had to do was follow the simple instructions to slot the pieces together. It's easy to put together and easy to take apart, making it portable if you need to move houses or change the room you've put it in.The pieces are made of a dense felt type material, and the waffle design is supposed to effectively dampen echo (I guess by confusing the sound waves as to which way they're supposed to go : ) The design really is awesome, and it's a beautiful centerpiece for a room. The cables that it comes with are all adjustable, and you can raise or lower the cloud by pressing the spring-loaded barrel on the ceiling brackets. This means you could even install it on an uneven ceiling or place it at an angle since you can adjust each cable separately.I have put the cloud together, but I haven't hung it yet because I need to take down my ceiling fan first. I plan to put this cloud over my computer in my voice over studio, but that's exactly where the ceiling fan is at the moment. I will write an update once I can speak to the way the cloud affects the sound quality in the room. I expect it will be terrific based on the design and quality of the cloud.

Looks Good, Price is Steep
This was very easy to put together, you just slide all the pieces together like a 3D puzzle. Also, it does seem to perform decently as a sound baffle. The real issue I have with it is how flimsy it feels. For something I'm hanging overhead as a permanent fixture, and at the cost, I'd like the pieces to feel more substantial.

Easy to put together, looks professional, room sound changes with different heights.
This is a great cloud panel for my room. I installed it in the rear of the room where the sound was a bit harsh off of the ceiling as you enter. After installing this, the harshness was gone and the room has a nice natural decay now. The room isn't big, about 12ftx20ftx9ft, so this was the perfect size for what I needed. It came with very handy and extra- long hanging wires along with some mounting brackets. They pull and lock easily to pick the perfect and even height. I noticed that the higher or lower I went with the cloud, it changed the resonance and natural sound of the room. The brackets really helped not make it pain and I was able to lower or raise super easily. It really does give a cool vibe to the room and not only gives a professional look but a more balanced sound. This has been a great addition to my secondary tracking room. The cloud is about as heavy as your standard 2x4 owens corning trap so beware. My ceiling is drywall and anchoring screws worked just fine. This thing is solid so far and I'm happy with the way it helps the decay in the room.

BIG. But easy to assemble and install, and it works.
This kit comes as a series of pre-cut panels that fit together, and some hardware. My experience was that assembly was self explanatory. The device probably doesn't do a lot of sound absorption- the material isn't heavy enough nor is it thick enough to absorb any but the highest frequencies. I think it does a pretty good job at sound diffusion. In my application, it does a decent job at contributing to the reduction of sound reflections in an otherwise bare room that houses my pet parrots. So that bit is working. It looks good, and would fit into the decor of a home, a restaurant or a professional office.
