Good stuff for a good price
Good stuff for a good price. A nice selection if you use a lathe much. At the price each normally I would not have tried a couple of the shapes but great to have for nominal cost to play with

Functional and inexpensive, but not impressive ...
You get what you pay for, and these were cheap.Not really impressed with these, but they're okay for the price. As some have noted, the bearing on mine seems to be a bit gritty feeling--not what you want just starting out. Oddly enough, when I put pressure on the bearing and turn it, it seems better, so who knows? Maybe it won't be so bad after all, and it looks like I might be able to put a much better bearing into it. The other pieces are pretty crudely machined, but should be fine to have around as backup pieces. I'll keep them, but will be buying better soon.I have now bought three different products from PSI, and this was the only one that appeared to be cheaply made. The other two items (TM32KL Keyless 1/2-Inch Drill Chuck, and Live Ball Bearing Tailstock Chuck Adapter / Center 1" x 8 TPI with MT2 Arbor) were also made in China, but are really very nicely machined, finished, and the bearing in the tailstock adapter seems to be excellent. PSI needs to contract only with the company that made the other two items for them. The difference in quality is like night and day.

This rounded out my needed accessories for my lathe. Now I can turn bowls and much longer items as well.

good for the beginer
as i am a beginer it was not wise for me to spend the big bucks on any lathe centers. i have seen them as high as $200.00 each and dont know if i really need that quality yet. i do wish it had instruction for the hollow piece. it is i am guessing that it is for 5/16 inch hole for lamp cords. i have to do some research to get my mind better wraped around that part. the others are self explanitory. one live center and 2 different ones for the chuck.well 3 when you count the hollow bit.
