The overall quality was actually surprisingly great. The packaging was nice, comes in a nice zipper shell case with all the stuff fitting in nicely.The build quality of the device itself is pretty good. It doesn’t weigh much at all but doesn’t feel cheap because of that. The plastic has a nice smooth texture to it. Really the only thing that kinda sucked is the cap that goes over the thing that holds the oil can kinda just be easily knocked off but reallyyyy not a big deal at all. That’s just knit pick.Coolest part is the removable remote control. I totally forgot that was even a thing. Works very well and responsive.Tested it out and it works great. Can easily fog up a room in no time. It is a little noisy but fogging in between shots erases that problem.Would highly recommend this product. Worth the price.

I’m a LD by trade. This is a nice little unit, especially for small spaces. The remote works well. I’d love to see a dmx option for this little guy. It would come in handy for prop makers!I’m not going to need this to fill a big room obviously, but it can fill a small room in a couple minutes, especially if you use a small fan to help it along.Pretty sure the fluid is more like an oil based hazer rather than a water based hazer.

Good smoke production and level of controls. First use could have gone better. Tips: (1) The battery direction indication on the metal part of the battery compartment cover is correct; the direction indication next to where the batteries are inserted is incorrect. (2) Batteries will need to be charged before first use. (3) If it has an Oil Tank Mismatch error, just wait for it to turn off, and then turn it back on again.

It was super convenient and operable when it first arrived. I used it on a short project within the first week of its arrival. about a week or so later on a second project, it started "overheating" extremely quickly; even though the tank did not feel hot. On a third project about a month later after sitting it refused to work at all. no matter what I tried; restarting, adjusting setting, cleaning the connections tightening or trying to find "just the right spot" it refused to work only giving me "oil tank mismatch". Unfortunate, cause I was really pleased with the sturdiness and effectiveness out of the box.

I’ve seen all kinds of reviews about it overheating or something else, but this thing is flawless. 10/10 would recommend. It has revolutionized my photos and filmmaking, and made things so much easier and portable. Never overheated and I run it continuously for minutes at a time. Not a single issue or error yet. Already used it for some pro work and it’s paid for itself.

I had zero issues with this product other than realizing you can get the remote out by hust pushing down on the top part of the remote to rock it free.The smoke function works as described i have only experimented with it so far so I'll update my review if I run into any issues.
