Gorgeous details
I've never been an action figure person. We saw this at Best buy but I was out of work at the time. I decided I wanted it and of course it wasn't at Best Buy when we went back. Luckily Amazon has this action figure. It was not expensive. Great toy for anyone who loves the dude. Anyone who is a dudeist. The big Lebowski is forever immortalized in this doll. Totally awesome. the dude abides
The problem with this figure is that it does not come off the base, so it can't stand on its own... Otherwise, in spite of no articulation, it is a beautiful figure that taps into what we know about... The Dude.The base on which it stands, I might add, is ugly and cumbersome, designed to hold up card that you might otherwise recycle, along with the box and shipping container. (At least, the shipping container is reusable.)I will add a picture when time allows. The stand is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. The paint and sculpt are perfect.Originally, I wanted to stand it next to my John Lennon figure... but that won't work in the current space.
