Very sticky but easy to wrap.
It sticks to both the pipe being lagged and itself.

Better at bends than a standard tube.
Whilst it’s very effective and better for working around lots of bends, you can only really apply it where there is good clearance all around the pipe to be protected

Did the job!
Did the job, easy to apply, good packaging & excellent delivery.

Outside tap lagging
The product was easy to use and appears to offer good insulation. The loose end after wrapping required a security tag as the glue was not adequate to stop it lifting. No problem.

Sticker on the foil but.
Very nice pipe insulation and foil on top, adhesive already on it.

Does the job but a pain to install
The issue is that it is incredibly difficult to peel back the protective lining on the adhesive side of the tape without tearing the tape itself. I lost about 0.3m of the tape due to this issue.

Overflow pipe
I’ve wrapped it around the overflow pipe - it was in November so will wait until March to know if it worked by insulating the combo boiler overflow pipe that runs outside the house and stop it from freezing over which has happened in the past

Good option for tight spots.
Not the thickest compared to the standard split foam insulation, but handy for giving a bit of protection in awkward places and where there isn't much clearance. 10m doesn't actually go that far when you are wrapping it round a pipe, especially if you overlap to give a bit more depth. The silver backing is a bit like duck tape, it feels pretty durable. The fact it is adhesive is a positive in securing it permanently in place, but a bit awkward for the really tight spaces as it wants to stick when being positioned. I found it easier in some spots to leave the backing on, feed and wrap it around the pipe, then just expose the adhesive at the ends to stick them in place.
