It‘s a solid piece of light blue tinged glass at the exact size as indicated. The handle is sturdy. The bottle solid. I ordered several items from the vendor and the small niggle I had with one of the items was promptly and satisfactorily addressed by the vendor within 24 hours. That is good customer service !!

Love these, have recently started home brewing wine and these are fab. You can fit a bung and airlock in the top
