My son recently developed interest in space and what better gift to get him for his 10th birthday than Lego? This was the perfect gift. He enjoyed building this up and even rotates it according to moon phases everyday! Highly recommend for kids.

I do like the look of the LEDs, but I wish the battery packs were smaller to better hide them.Also, installation of the LEDs could have been better. I realize it might not be easy with the LEGO pieces used in some places, but still.Finally, one of the LED strips requires it to be plugged in to an external battery (outside of what was provided), that was disappointing.

My son received this as a present. Within a couple months of using it the wires attached to the battery pack in the sun have snapped in two places. Unfortunately to light up the sun you have to open it up and switch it on and off every time then put the battery pack back in. The wires broke after him doing this just a handful of times.

This was a Christmas gift bought a month before Christmas. My grandson used it for three months and the very thin wire broke in half. I wasn’t able to return it because the return window has closed. This is an expensive piece of junk I would not recommend buying!

Clunky installation with two battery packs plus a USB plug, and wires that need to be routed around but can't really be hidden very well. Part of the LEGO kit rubs on one of the lighting strips so when the kit rotates it rubs on the very delicate connector. After a few rotations the connector had already broken. No refunds, only return at my expense for a replacement, which will no doubt experience the same issue.

My 10 year old got this for his birthday. Was so excited and put it all together but the blue lights started to fail and when he picked them up to inspect he burnt his hand. Half of them aren’t lighting up and they are dangerously hot and melting the connecting tape.
