Great tool for maintaining my trees and bushes
The media could not be loaded. I've been using this telescopic long reach cut and hold pruner for a few weeks now and it's made maintaining my fruit trees and climbing vines so much easier! The pole extends from 6ft to 10ft which lets me reach high branches without risking myself on a wobbly ladder. And with only 2 sections instead of 3, it feels really sturdy even when fully extended. I love the "cut n hold" feature - it grabs onto small fruits and soft prunings so I can position a bin underneath and drop em right in, no more two-step process! Just keep in mind its meant for tender growth under 1/4 inch, not thick woody branches. The sharp blade makes nice clean cuts and the whole thing feels pretty durable. It's lightweight too, only about 2.5 pounds so I can use it for a while without my arms getting tired. The dual safety lock is great - the blades won't engage unless the pole is locked in place, plus theres a lock on the grip.If I'm being picky, the tip sometimes struggles to grab really tiny vine tendrils, they can slip out. But overall this pruner has made a tedious chore way quicker and easier. No more scratches from thorny vines or risky reaching! Whether I'm pruning tall stuff or down low without bending over, this tool gets it done. I'd say its a great choice for any gardener wanting to to streamline their pruning, just don't expect it to powers through thick branches.

Great for Palm Tree branches 🌴
This is a great tool for trimming palm tree leaves. The extension feature works well, some of my palm trees rang from 4-10ft. tall. This device works well and cuts smoothly for the green (softer) palms and it is a little more difficult to cut through the dead (harder) branches. The unit isn't too heavy, but your arm does get fatigued. Overall its very easy to hold and use.

Works amazingly well
I ordered this and received it just a couple of days ago. Today my DH used it to harvest fruit from our young loquat tree. We have lived in our home for 3 years and this year is our largest harvest. Last year we had a difficult time harvesting the loquats on the upper branches and we are getting too old to use ladders for such things so we hopped this device would help us with this task plus several other jobs around our home.I have been disappointed so many times by other products that I am always leery of the seller's claims, but not this time. The long reach fruit picker does everything promised ... and with flying colors. It is light weight - especially considering how far it can be extended up into the fruit tree. It can be quickly and easily adjusted in 3 steps from its minimum length of about 6 feet up to about 10 feet ... plus, of course, your own arm length extension. And it does an absolutely amazing job of being able to hold onto a bunch of fruit and cut it off at the same time all with one easy squeeze of the handle grip. (You just have to make sure that the gripping surface and the cutting blade are facing the correct direction before making the cut or else the fruit will come falling to the ground while you and the tool remain gripped onto the remaining branch.)The handle grip can be locked with the jaw in the closed position. The gripping section on the head has a rubber-like surface to securely hold onto the fruit after it has been cut off the main branch. The cutting blade is sharp and easily cuts through the stem which attaches the fruit to the tree. There is a movable secondary hand grip that can be slid into various positions to best provide leverage in handling the extended pole. This is one tool which I can wholeheartedly recommend as efficiently useful and worth its not insignificant cost.

IT’S NOT MADE FOR THICK BRANCHES
The media could not be loaded. This is my review for the Jardineer Telescopic Long Reach Pruner, 6-10 Feet Cut and Hold Pruner, Leightweight Long Pruner for Hard-to-Reach Cuts. When I came across this product I was happy and excited to be able to do this review. I have grape vines and branches from my neighbors trees that are always dropping into my raised garden beds whenever there is a storm or the winds blow. I don’t have the space to use a ladder and to be honest I’m not a fan of heights or ladders so this was perfect for me and a godsend. I did read some of the prior reviews about this product before deciding to give it a try and for what I needed it for this would be perfect for my needs. I used it on one of my Foxtail palms and it cut perfectly. In the video it looks like it took longer to cut it but I was trying to get the pruners as close to the base of the trunk before cutting it. It cut like butter and it’s didn’t struggle at all. Now when I did try to cut a grape vine that was probably about a 1/2 inch in diameter it couldn’t cut through that. They’re not really easy to cut through as they’re very tough. I was able to cut through the smaller vines and branches with no problem and this helped so much getting rid of the eye sore and to eliminate the vines and branches from falling down inside my garden. I highly recommend these pruners for fruit or smaller projects. They work great, it’s lightweight so you’re not trying to lift something so heavy that your arms get tired. I love the telescopic handle and it slides up and down very easily and locks and stays in place. It doesn’t look like it would rust as it looks and feels like it may be made out of aluminum. I hope this review helps! Thanks Jardineer! I love these and I highly recommend.
