So cute, nice to put in garden
All hatched just as promised, tiny tiny creatures, fun to dump on bushes and watch them roam. Grandkids love them

Great science project
The media could not be loaded. Took about 5 to 7 weeks to hatch but once they did, there was over a hundred of them. Within the first couple days, many dies or cannibalized each other, which I guess is expected. I released a couple that escaped to the outdoors. I'm pretty sure one of those is living in my gazebo now. The rest I tried to separate and raise in little terrariums but eventually only 3 survived, which I figured should be a higher survival rate than that, but oh well. Next time I order once they're back in stock, I'll release them all into my gazebo and let them hunt out there.

False advertising - invasive Chinese species
These aren't Carolina mantises that are native to the US, as advertised. They are Chinese mantises, you can tell by a number of factors but the most telling is that the wings cover their entire abdomen- Carolina mantises only have wings that cover about 2/3 of their body. It's extremely unethical to dupe consumers into buying eggs of an invasive species that they'll then release in their ecosystem.

Mantis Egg
This arrived quickly and hatched just as noted in the instructions. It was easy to take care of, and we had a lot of fun watching the Mantis' hatch. We bought this for pest management in our greenhouse and so far they are doing exactly what we got them for. We are probably going to buy another at some point.

Ordered two both hatched
Made a purchase of 2 on 05/25/2024, they arrived on 05/31/2024. Placed them next to each other in the indoor mudroom and misted them with a spray bottle every other day. On 07/10/2024 one of the two eggs hatched and the container was full of babies. The second hatched on 07/19/2024. Released them into the garden and it seems they are finding good hiding places.

Lots of babies in 6 weeks
Hoped to release in the garden. waited two days to let them strengthen up like the instructions said and 2/3 of them died even though we misted the container interior

My babies!
Hatched perfectly, early actually! It was awesome to see so many little babies appear from what seemed like nothing! I was sad when I had to release them, I hope they made it ok!

Patience
I was starting to lose faith these would hatch after reading some of the other reviews. Followed the directions, finally put it outside in its container overnight (it’s been humid and hot here in TN). The next morning I came out and they had hatched!
