I set up the machine this morning, everything seemed very stiff/tight and the front load bobbin was hard to install. I finally managed to get it all set up and tried it on a piece of unwanted cotton fabric. A few stitches in and the machine completely locked up the needle was jammed up. I tried turning the dials they wouldn’t move and the light kept flickering on and off. I’d had enough all packed up and ready to return. Notin my opinion a good buy

Wanted to love it. Cast alloy frame gives accurate stitching at all speeds.The servo motor means that you can't have a standard foot pedal. It's got a low voltage (approx 3v dc) pedal on it's own lead.Pedal is too sensitive and you can't swap it. Needle threader is useful but not as easy to use as a Toyota.Top loading bobbin would have been nice - Singer introduced those in 1910, but I'm used to vertical bobbin cases, been using them for years. Works great on thicker materials but locked up on a straight stitch on a thinnish material at highish speed. Not really thin and not flat out.Have sent it back. Shame that.Post script. Feiyue video says to only thread the machine with the foot raised so that the thread sits properly in the tension discs. All but the most ancient of machines open the discs with the foot up. Possibly that's why it jammed.

Hi out there.This sewing was my first experience with a sewing machine, so had to learn. Abit frustrating to start with, but I got the hang of it,practice, practice is the key,I love this mashine it's my world,I'm learning new things evey week,I've change the feet and done buttons, and the bottom holes, few broken buttons late I'd successfully sewed buttons, I'm so impressed with my efforts, it's made feel better abt my self. As other ppls mashine jamming I'm real sorry your having problems with your mashine, I'm sure the manufacturer can help.
