good mirror and perfect fit
I installed it, plugged it and snapped it on as required.It fits perfectly, easy installation, good value.Not sure that this has any electrical connection, like heating or blind spot monitor sensors, as it’s the case with the OEM VW brand, but for the great price, it’s good quality for now and performs as expected. Thank you

Perfect budget-friendly mirror
Item: Unboxed and removed bubble wrap, product was in perfect condition. No cracks in the glass or plastic backing.Install: Watched a short YT vid for clarification, as the amazon description mentions applying a supplied adhesive but this mirror was already glued to the backing. 1 less step for install is ok in my book.Used a 4" putty knife/paint scraper to remove old mirror. *PRO TIP: pop the bottom loose first and then the top, careful around the top left corner as this is where the 2 heating connections are and the wires are very thin. Then slide the 2 female leads off and use a small screwdriver or nail or pin to release the blind spot indicator's snap connector. Reverse the steps to install new glass. Fits perfect and heat works.Speaking of the blind spot - this mirror DOES NOT have the connector or blind spot indicator at all, which doesn't bother me. If you think this is an issue then keep shopping, if not then this is an absolute steal at $15.

Good to be used as a cheap replacement
Wiring is very straightforward and the mirror actually comes pre-assembled on a new backing as well! My only complaint is the dotted line.

Objects will NOT look larger in this passenger-side mirror
The OEM passenger-side mirror that came with the car was slightly convex to make objects look larger in the mirror. This passenger-side mirror is flat (except for a note below) which is ok, but not an OEM replacement.HOWEVER, the upper left corner of the mirror has a "dime-sized" indentation that totally distorts that small area. So, it's not totally flat, but I didn't feel like going through the hassle of replacing it.
