Don't bother.
The battery doesn't keep a good charge. Fully charged the battery and used it for a few minutes only to loose 35 percent of its charge. I am still keeping it regardless not working how it should. Not worth the time to return for the amount paid. 😴

Dead after just 3 months
Bought this "Galaxy S5 Battery (2024 New Upgrade), 8000mAh High Capacity Battery for Galaxy S5 G900A G900P G900V G900T G900F G900H G900R4 I9600" for an old phone. For the first 3 months, it worked OK. Battery charge lasted slightly less than the original battery from Samsung, in spite of this product advertising an unbelievable "8000mAh". It is more like 2700mAh in reality.Just at the 3 month mark, the phone started shutting down earlier and earlier in the day. It reached the point where I charge it for a whole night (10 full hours), and the phone will not last more than 5 hours while COMPLETELY IDLE.To all the greedy incompetent manufacturers out there: Stop producing defective batteries that do not last. Stop advertising false capacity ratings higher than reality. Stop polluting the planet, learn to make an honest living.

Dead On Arrival
Put the battery in the phone and it did not charge. The display on my charger just briefly blinks when I connect the phone, immediately goes back to zero. Phone charges perfectly with the old battery. Will throw this one away and try a different brand.

Fits fine, works once you remove the non-obvious cover
This battery fits my Galaxy S5 just fine, but it initially refused to power up or charge. I had a good look at it, and there is a non-obvious transparent plastic over the contacts (shown in one of the photos.) Once you scrape that off, it works. Arrived 40% charged and went up to 100%. Long term lifespan is unknown. The advertised 8000 mAh is implausible. Modern phones with physically larger batteries are only 4500 or 5000 mAh.
