This is 2nd samsung sound bar I purchased. Previously in2021, HW990q A, bought off line from reliance store. Now from amazon. Good in every aspect sound quality, clarity, value for money, built quality, ease of installation. Recieved on 6.11.2024 after 10 days wait.However place for HDMI ports is narrow and could not accommodate all three HDMI inputs at a time. We have to sacrifice one hdmi input for ease of connectivity. DVD player connected to HDMI 1 or 2nd port input could not play music directly. Must be switched on tv simultaneously with sound bar.Amazon assured cash back of rs3999.00 along with other cash back was also credited to my Amazon account. Thanks to Amazon.

This sound bar produces superb truly immersive audio experience at home. The sound fit pro is a boon in our apartment as it keeps the thunder in the confines of the room. The height and spacial effects will rival traditional speaker set up.. With the price drop with republic day sale it turned out to be worthy investment and really uplifted the home theatre experience. The minimum TV size to be 55 inches.. this is that wide.. My present TV is LG OLED C2, even though I had the option to go for LG 95 SR I decided to go with samsung q990D based on a lot of research/ review in the net. The wireless satellite speakers are cool, and they work like gem.Samsung service, they were prompt.I got this wall mounted.Satellite speakers, got was mounted with the help of speaker wall mounts fetched from Amazon.. They are placed behind and laterally ..Happy that my decision is right, as the amount to be spent was not something small!!!Samsung tech did the connectivity job for me .. But the rear speakers were fixed by the tech just the opposite ,I came to know about, when I checked with the help of an atmos file.Connecting and setting up was a breeze

Bought this to hook it up with my Samsung TV on native Q symphony mode.I was blown away with the sound quality. The onboarding and setup was plugand play. That simple!

I've a sony x90l and was hesitant to buy the Samsung q990d with concerns of compatibility issues. The setup was a breeze. Just plugin the power cords and the Hdmi into earc input and you are ready. There are certain niggles here and there but it's a day and night difference between the tv speakers and this soundbar.The woofer has enough thump to rattle the doors and windows. I have set it to -6 since it's too much for me. The AVA and voice enhancement features are great to make the dialogue clearer but it increases the overall treble in the vocal frequency so I turned them off.All in all, this soundbar is a very good one and you can buy it without any regrets. Dolby Atmos makes me want to re-watch all those action movies again.

Got this product 2 days ago and thanks to Amazon got delivered a day before the promised date. However the shipment was done only after 6 days and multiple follow ups.Pros:Sound quality is good but not mind boggling as given in multiple reviews. It’s not a drastic improvement from my old and cheap 5.1 system.Connectivity with Samsung smart things app was a breeze. Apple AirPlay worked fineLooks are excellent, my kids were excited during unboxing. The bar is heavy and feels premium.Watched a Dolby Atmos title in Amazon prime, the performance was descent but again not mind blowing. I felt I enjoyed better Dolby Atmos through my phone and headphones.Cons:The Samsung engineer who came for the installation had zero knowledge on the product.Apple AirPlay works for Apple Music but doesn’t support Dolby AtmosAs soon as this soundbar connected to my TV with ARC connection, Netflix and Disney hotstar stopped showing Dolby Atmos content. Only Amazon prime played Dolby Atmos content. I took premium subscription on all of those and now feels it was a waste.I didn’t feel any height in the atmos content, may be I was a problem with the movie.You need additional power sockets for installation of rear speakers. That’s an extra cost.Value for money:I haven’t used cheaper sound bars so unable to compare with cheaper options. However I didn’t get a drastic improvement from my old 5.1 system which costed around 10k. I feel I should have gone for Ambeo plus or Sonos Arc which were cheaper during Diwali sale. The lack of support from Netflix and Disney hotstar makes this purchase almost a waste. It could be a good product at 50k price range but definitely not worth 91k which I spent on it including the emi.Update: I did a manual firmware update on my tv to android 11. Now Dolby Atmos is working. Still not met my expectations
