Makes tree trimming a breeze!
We bought our first Corona tree trimmer nearly 30 years ago. It was such an outstanding purchase that when it came time to buy a new one, we elected to purchase the exact same one - the 12' pole saw with the 1" branch cutter. The most difficult thing about using this pole saw is getting it out of the plastic package. Three to 4 sawing pulls and branches that are 2-3 inches in diameter are neatly and cleanly removed from the larger trunks of our trees. The 12' pole is also well-balanced, even when extended to maximum height. Highly recommend this tree trimmer and if our word isn't enough, take into consideration that the company stands behind their product by offering a lifetime warranty. Excellent product, value, and ease of use.

Great for tree pruning.
A great saw that will eat through thick branches. The blade is sharp and makes reaching for awkward branches easy. The collar can slip a little bit when you are extended really far but it wasn't really an issue.

Lasted four years, then needed a fix
The cloth fabric covering the cord wore off (about 10" length) at the mechanism end, and also the metal clip that holds the cord together at the fixed point on the mechanism end broke off. I was able to fix it by cutting and using the other end of the cord, tying a double knot in place of the metal clip. Hopefully that'll get me more longevity out of this pruner. If the cord wears down again, I can cut some more of it and repeat the fix. Eventually, I suppose, the rope will get too short. However, I owned one of these prior to the one I currently have, and failure was at the telescoping mechanism on the pole, which can't be fixed. If that happens again, this one will have to be replaced, and it's now 50% more expensive than four years ago (no surprise). It's a very good pruner, but those issues (cord wear, clip breakage, telescope mechanism failure) should be addressed by Corona. So, four instead of five stars.

Poor quality
Hoped for this to be a great product due to price point, but was a fail. Used it once and within five minutes the blade snapped off the handle and could not be fixed. Blade is sharp and worked well for the few minutes of use. Not worth the buy due to poor quality of construction

Works for me
Have to say I have had very good results with this pruner. Borrowed my fathers for several years and finally bought my own. Use it to trim branches on a citrus tree as well as cactus and ivy that grows over our pool. It has done the job.

Value pruner
Pruning head is a big clunky which makes it hard to get in between branches and the pull extender locking doesn’t stay locked. However saw is pretty sharp. Overall a pretty good value.

Couldn't be happier
I borrowed my friend's last year and liked it. When I saw the price this sells for at Amazon, I didn't hesitate. This is a strong well-made tool that is easy to use.
