Great secure drive
You can use the fingerprint feature PLUS something like BitLocker for (almost) bulletproof security.

Compact and Reliable Flash Drive
This compact Lexar thumb drive offers large storage and impressive read/write speed due to USB 3.2 Gen 1 support. Its sleek black design includes a data backup feature, adding value. However, its fingerprint recognition could improve. Despite this, it's a reliable, solid product.

So Simple To Use
This was easy to set up and easy to use. I love it now when I go places like the library I don't feel as uneasy if I need to walk away to get print outs and stuff. Feeling like I have that added protection that only my fingerprint can give is something I love. Its a comfortable design and easy to use on the go. It even transfers stuff to at a decent pace so your not waiting forever just to pull something up you needed, and it writes just as fast.

Very poor at reading your fingerprint.
Takes many, many swipes before if finally reads finger print. Tried different fingers but always takes a long time (up to 20 minutes) before you can access files. My phone takes at the most 3 passes; this USB can sometimes take over a 100. Don't buy unless you like wasting time.

Speedy drive but integration is lacking
No instructions included with the drive and not well integrated as a package overall. The drive shows up as a USB drive with a label as Public and a CDRFS drive with installation files to install on your computer. It only comes with Windows compatible installation files, no Apple or Android or Chromebook or Linux installation are included. If you have a Samsung or Microsoft Windows tablet with an ARM based processor there is no installation files either for Windows on ARM processor based computers.I have used other external memory cards and usually they include a USB dock so you can plug the encrypted flash card into the dock and the whole drive is displayed and you have to enter your password or passphrase to see the encrypted files on the drive as the whole drive is encrypted similar in nature to Windows Bitlocker where the whole drive is encrypted. Trying to position your thumb on the USB stick connected to the USB port on your desktop or laptop is not always convenient as the drive maybe on the front or side or back of the computer. I can't reach the back of my computer very easily and trying to position my thumb over the fingerprint reader is very cumbersome as the USB ports are vertical stacked next to each other and not horizontal. If they are going to charge as much as they are for a 128GB or 256GB thumb drive they should included a USB dock to make it easier to have a fingerprint reader.Speed wise I couldn't use the standard CrystalDisk or DiskMark to benchmark them as it isn't recognized as a regular drive. Copying a large movie for a test started off at 333MB/s transfer which quickly dropped to 122MB/s after the cache became full.

Very nice and works well.
And it is FAST! Transferred a 3GB file at 2+Gb's per second. I know they rate the speed faster than that, but I'm sure if it was plugged into a USB 3.2 port, it would be faster. I'm testing it on a cheap mini computer. The fingerprint and admin security is easy to setup, resizing the storage size allocation is easy and it is easy to use. It does get warm, but not too bad. Very happy with this drive, Lexar makes a nice product.

Usually Works Well
I previously purchased another brand of fingerprint flash drives and it worked well if you could ever get it to accept a fingerprint. So, I decided to try this Lexar. It has a significantly larger storage capacity than my other drive and it seems to work quite well. As in the other model, however, it can be difficult to get it to recognize my fingerprint. I would say this drive is very usable, but it does take some patience sometimes to get it to work properly. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it and would recommend with the warning that it might take some fiddling from time to time to get it to recognize a fingerprint.UPDATE: I have now used or try to use this drive for some time and I have been pretty disappointed. It often will not recognize a fingerprint making its reliable use pretty much impossible. This is the second of these (not the same brand) that I have used and both had the same problem. I can't recommend this product; it lacks sufficient reliability to be of any significant value.UPDATE: Totally failed after a bit over three months. I contacted Lexar and their support service was excellent. They refunded the purchase price. However, I think I would recommend that one steer clear of fingerprint flash drives. My experience is that they don't work.

works well on new computers
Setup is easy and the drive works well after setting up the thumb prints. WARNING, if you are running windows 10 or older you may not be able to use this drive. Could not get it working on my MIL's older computer running windows 10 no USB port would recognize the drive. Also tried in on 2 other windows 10 machines that I maintain that I know have up to date hardware and drivers and it would not work.
