good quality and works
My external hard drive was dropping connection so frequently that I thought it was going bad.I took a chance & bought this hoping that it was just a cable that had gone bad over the years.This was shipped pretty quickly and arrived in good condition. Both cables fit snugly and now no more dropped connections. Definitely worth trying for a reasonable cost - plus I have a backup just in case.

Perfect replacement
Doggy chewed up the original cord and this is a perfect replacement for my Western Digital drive.

A great buy for a great price!
The usb cords I received were really high quality surprisingly! They were exactly the length I needed, my backup hard-drive sits directly on top of the head of my laptop so a lengthy cord just wasn’t for me. Both ends fit snuggly inside my 4TB Western Digital external hard-drive and my laptop’s USB ports, there’s almost no wiggle. So far, things are working beautifully and the transfer rate of these cords was the same as the original that I had. All-in-all? A win-win situation :)

Didn't work with my external portable DVD drive
I bought this cable to connect a portable DVD drive to my laptop and apparently not all USB-3 cables are created equal, because it kept dropping the connection. These cables probably work fine for other uses but I'd advise caution if you plan on using this on a DVD drive. I bought a different cable which works fine - so the drive wasn't the problem.
