Modernize old cars
Really good for the price, I'm still figuring out how to fully power down the radio I can scroll down and hit close screen but music can still play unless I pause it or remove it. Overall though a good way to modernize these old cars

Software issues and poor instructions
I'd like to give it 2.5 out of 5. But it's not a 3 star product.First of all, the directions are horrible. There are essentially no directions. You're on your own to install it and it's a little confusing but I figured it out as I'm kind of handy.So even after we figured it out, we were immediately disappointed by the antiquated software. It felt like Android 1.0. when you went to media it brought up a hard drive and USB option as if anyone uses those anymore. After testing it out for a little bit, it froze and the only thing that worked was the radio. Turning the car on and of didn't fix it, we had to unplug the power which is crazy.The next issue was actually playing anything using Bluetooth. We tried for ½ an hour to figure out how to play music with an iPhone and although we successfully connected, when we played music on the phone it immediately paused it. We couldn't initiate music playback on the device either.If you are good with this kind of things and don't need good directions to install, and if you have no issues with playing music, it's a solid 2.5/5. The screen is okay, but the buttons are the cheapest you can buy. You have to press on one side of the button, not the whole button. But if you don't care about price or up to date software, go for it

all wires separated nothing hitting off radio, radio still skips , not loud at all,

Not bad for price
The install process was pretty easy and looks nice / clean in dash. However, it mutes itself while in reverse and navigating the menu takes a moment to figure out. Also the volume scale is a bit wonky - might blow speakers past 11. However, if you own an old VW you already know the stock radio wasn’t perfect.
