ProMag AA108 Archangel Alum 1911 Grip Panels, Mag Funnel

Whenever I write a review on any gun, or gun accessory, I like to mention that you should NEVER expect anything like this to come out of the box and fit perfectly right away. All guns are different. Not every 1911 is going to be exactly the same in every way. I have an Armscor and these fit mine very nicely. The only thing I needed to do was smooth out one edge on my gun to make it even with the magwell. But it was not hard. If a visually impaired woman can do it, you can too.They are slim and soft. They are darker than shown. I thought they would be grey but they are very black and are not shiny. I really like them a lot and would recommend them to any 1911 owner.

Would be 5 stars if they had the mag release cut out. Very thin grip and fit perfect. Solved my need for a magwell for now. I still plan on changing my MSH and adding a permanent magwell as I prefer the looks of that better. Good buy for the money. They will work using the wilson standard 47d mags.

Very nice construction. Good quality. A little fitting required for my application but works great. Price is right for what you get. Tactile but not too rough. Solid item

DISCLAIMER: I'm on my second set. The first set I was sent didn't match up properly. Thanks, Amazon for a seamless and quick replacement.Not much I can say except they're just ideal. Thin, light, comfortable. Grippy enough even during long shooting sessions. Magwell is "just enough" -- It's not so big as to make the gun bulky, yet the funnel makes for quick mag-slappin' action. Great with 8-round mags. Still fits 7-rounders with ease (although obviously, you're pressing into the well to seat a 7-rounder). Seconds (okay, "minutes") to install, required no modification or fitting on my Ruger SR1911 (6715). Grip was unexpectedly decent - even after a fresh silicone cloth treatment.

The the grips are nice. They feel good but the only problem is that you still need to fit the magwell guide to fit flush with the magwell. No one here has given any pictures so I will put mine up when I get the chance. it still does work well without the fitting but if you want that clean look then there will be some fitting required. I put these on my SA range officer. They are great grips for this price and I have purchased a 2nd one for my Sig Sauer 1911. I would buy these again.

These grips did require a little fitting and I had to work on the mag well of my pistol a little, but they now fit great and feel great. I have very large hands and the extended area at the back makes the gun fit my hand better. For the money I spent, I'm much happier than I would have been if I had spent several times as much for a big name well. I also think this set-up looks better than the other wells. It's a sleeker, more natural look.

This goes together exactly as it should, and is a nice piece of gear for my Sig. The only thing I would've liked a little more, is if it were a little more aggressive in the grip texture. It does really look nice and function well though, all things considered, including the excellent price!
