They're Fine
I wanted to upgrade my extenders, so bought two of these. I removed the included sticky strips and replaced them with Command removable strips so I wouldn't mess up my walls. As it was, one of the extenders did not have the second part of the sticky strips in the box, so would have been unusable anyway (didn't look like a returned item, but who knows with Amazon these days). The set up with my TP-Link router went fine, but I did have a couple of annoying issues. I was hoping to "mesh" the extenders and the router. I have my outdoor cameras set up to use my guest network. Turns out I can't mesh the extenders and router and use the guest network for the cameras. Everything has to be on the main network, so can't/won't use the mesh option. I want my cameras on the guest network. Then, once everything was set up, my printer stopped printing (it works wirelessly). It worked fine that morning, but did not work after replacing the extenders. It would say it was connected to the wifi, but wouldn't work. After a day of fighting with it, I finally got it working again. I uninstalled/reinstalled - no go. I reset the printer to factory settings - no go. For some reason it could not "find" the computer. The printer's trouble shooting guide in the booklet that came with it said one option was to turn on Bluetooth on the computer. Did that and it finally connected and has worked ever since (even with turning off the computer Bluetooth again). Not sure what all that was all about, but things are working. After all is said and done, these new extenders are working. The signal is strong. Wish TP-Link would come up with an update that would let me mesh them and still access the guest network.

Impossible to set up. Avoid
I have spent some two hours following the instructions. Nothing works. Avoid.
