As a pro photographer who shoots a lot of gigs and festivals, and also weddings, I was looking for a 'non strap' type solution which would secure my cameras in difficult environments. A colleague showed me something similar he had bought from a well known company but they were twice the price. Bought these thinking I may have to upgrade later, but no need. they are so secure on a double thickness waist belt but also fit a backpack strap too. Once in place they do not move, the Arca Swiss plate is great too and the double lock feature on the unit ensures safety. I have jumped off pit walls with a 70-200mm lens on my cam body and there is simply no movement. Great piece of kit, highly recommended!

This clip feels like it’s good quality and I don’t have any qualms hanging my Fuji X-H2 and 56mm from it.My only gripe is the bolts to cinch it onto your rucksack straps are pretty long so when it’s cinched down they stick out the back and dig into your chest which is pretty damn uncomfortable when you also have a heavy camera attached to it.I’m sure the long bolts are a bonus if you have super padded straps but for me they just make it uncomfortable to use.

This is a great product BUT consider this before buying: Do you really want 6-7kg of camera and lens hanging off your shoulder/hip? It makes for a very uncomfortable walking experience. So I can't fault the product, but don't have anything heavy hanging off it. A nice light mirrorless would be fine. But a Nikon D850 with a 300mm zoom is really going to drag you down.
