After reading the reviews about the chair going together, it was easy to solve that. Break out the real tools not what comes with the chair. The chair is built well, and enough padding to make a comfortable extended sit. Don’t get concerned reading the negative reviews on this. Chair is comfortable and sturdy. When you assemble, leave the bolts slightly loose (as per instructions) so you can get everything aligned before the final tightening of the hardware. THIS IS CLEARLY SPELLED OUT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. However, do yourself a favor and get either metric box wrenches or an adjustable wrench to assemble the chair. The stamped “wrenches” they include in the kit are small and likely not up to the job. Really no different than any other “tools” included in self assemble furniture these days. It took me 20min to assemble. Hope this helps someone in their decision. Cheers.

The stool appears to be sterdy. Assembly is a bit uncomfortable due to tiny wrenches that are included. The footrest bolt holes for you to apply considerable pressure to the legs in order to get the bolts hole to allign. A small er individual may have difficulty. Lifting the assembly by the seat is not recommended since the cylinder is not fixed into the base and can pop out.The seat covering appears to be heavy duty and should last. The base is wide enough but not too wide.

Great chair. It is comfortable and assembly was straight forward. One piece needed adjustment, but it wasn’t hard to correct.

The negative reviews here are pretty accurate. I give it 3 stars because the stool is pretty sturdy, but poorly manufactured.- It came in a beat up box, parts inside were loose, but bubble-wrapped. I feel this was probably a repackaged return.- There were no directions, so I had to figure out the process. Wasn't that difficult though.- Holes didn't always line up. This is typical of cheap Chinese stuff, little attention to quality. Hint: as you insert the bolts, leave them all loose until the whole stool is put together. This gives you some wiggle room to get all the bolts in, then tighten them when done.We'll see how well it lasts, but I'll give it a shot. Won't buy from this vendor again though.

Great shop chair. Well made, good price for the quality of chair and fast delivery. Easy to assemble. Works great.

Half of the holes on the legs and square frame are so far off, they need to be redrilled. This would probably weaken the stool. Welds are sloppy and the dies must be crap. The manufacturer should be ashamed to put something of this poor quality on the market.Update 01/08/25In defense of the company, they were prompt sending out a new unit but, it has the same problem. Company needs a QA/QC dept. as well as some new dies or jigs and welders.

Really heavy duty and well constructed. I was hesitant to buy because the seat looked too thin to be comfortable but it has really good padding and extra heavy duty seat cover material. Really easy to put together if you line up the holes on base with a small round Phillips screw driver like on the video. I liked the chair so much that I ordered another one.
