This toy is a great way to keep youngsters entertained while parents are busy around the house. Gabby and pillow cat will tell a variety of stories and encourage children to engage in various games with them.Some of the games are knowledge games and some memory type.This toy is well-made And lots of children will be familiar with it. It's a nice size, Just Right for next to a bed which is the perfect place to tell bedtime stories from.I wonder if the stories might get repetitive because there isn't very many of them, Some children find comfort in hearing the same story over and over again, But I think most children get bored.I got this for my nearly 5-year-old granddaughter, When I saw it I thought it was loaded with lots of different stories but now I see it only has a few stories rather than 50. The 50 references all the different games and activities on there.Sometimes the characters fast, high pitched voice can get annoying.I do love the cat noises on it though, if you quickly press all the buttons in order they make very amusing cat noises!I'm not sure how good a value for money it is, It's nearly £30 and in reality only has a few stories, So I think being marketed as a bedtime storyteller is a bit of a stretch.

Purchased as a last minute Christmas gift for our daughter who loves gabby. I wasn't sure about buying this item but when it came down in price I couldn't resist buying it. It was great value for money. The item isn't too big and has lots of features like music and sayings etc.My 2 year old lives playing with it. It has good sound control so it's not too loud or in your face.

A story teller and entertainment toy for fans of Gabby’s Dollhouse. Personally I’ve never heard of this, it sounds very American and I presume it’s an American import show. But my seven year old granddaughter thinks it’s great, so that’s the real recommendation review.On switching on it lights up with a bright and infectious tune and then has four buttons to select stories. The stories are instantly recognisable, such as Jack and the Beanstalk, and each is a slight variation from the original.I would think that with only four stories its long term use may be limited, but so far it’s doing well. It can also act a nightlight and it plays musical tunes.It also has a timer so it can be used as a sleep soother and then turns itself off.For a young fan of Gabby I’m sure it would be a most welcome toy.

The media could not be loaded. My child used the toy to play independently while I was cooking dinner. I could hear them laughing and talking along with Gabby, totally immersed in the stories. It kept them entertained and engaged for a good amount of time, which was a lifesaver for me.One night, we also tried out the night light feature. The soft glow is just right—not too bright, but enough to create a comforting atmosphere in the room. Paired with the gentle music, it helped my little one wind down and fall asleep more easily.
