Not sure how it will hold up.
Here's an update - after using the whisk for nearly two years it is holding up well. It seemed flimsy but the design allows the whisk to move freely and really mix up the eggs. I would definitely buy another if needed. This whisk is very flimsy. We'll see how it holds up. It is inexpensive. My husband likes it because he believes it is better than using a fork on eggs. Personally, I use a regular whisk or fork to beat eggs.

Great for Gravy
When making a package of gravy in a small 1qt saucepan, these are perfect to get all the way to the edge, so you don't have undissolved powder. I had to flatten the bottom a little so it will stand up in the saucepan. The only negative is that the gauge of the wire could be just a tiny bit bigger, but these still work fine and I would buy them again.

Old School
The wife couldn't find what she wanted in the grocery store and was thrilled I found this one. She loves it.

Good but not my perfect whisk
Not as sturdy as my previous one. It deforms easily. It also is not as flat bottomed as my previous one either. This one is perfectly usable. Just not perfect for me.

ICYANG 4 Pieces Wire Whisks for Cooking
Wife likes them! Gave one to a friend and she likes it too. They are stainless steel and seem to hold up well.

Spring Whisk
I took forever to find this replacement for the one I have had since the 80's. The head is a bit shorter than the one I had but it works very well and i would recommend that everyone should try this wisk out it works way better than a balloon whisk for whisking eggs.

I bought this for my Husband who has been into baking recently.
Sadly most wire/coil whisks are a little more sturdy than this one. I bought it on the good reviews and hoped it would do what we needed. Sadly it is more weak than we anticipated and falls short of our hopes. It works well in eggs and egg whites but not so well in anything thicker. It's very springy.

Marvelous inventon
I've used one of these for many years--finally had to replace my old one.. I've never found anything that beats eggs like it--but I've found that it's best used for just one or two eggs at a time. A wire whisk is more efficient for larger batches. One caution--wash it by hand and dry it (air dry is OK) right away because eventually, it will start to rust. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Be especially careful to clean the connection between the handle and the spring.
