I WAS AS SKEPTICAL AS THE NEXT PERSON pondering whether or not to buy one of these aftermarket head units.ME: 63 year old Data Scientist/GenAI Expertise, so "clever enough" to be SKEPTICAL when there are too many short, vague 5-start ratings...I WAS WRONG - DELIGHTFULLY SO.JUST LIKE THEY CLAIM - the dash on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited came out with literally 6 screws.Amazing already, since I also own a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and removing THAT dash is an $1800 SHOP JOB :-OJUST LIKE THEY CLAIM - the whole damn thing installs in UNDER 1 HOUR, even while the engine is running on a late November 2024 bitterly-cold fall day in the driveway in northeastern Illinois. I was DELIGHTED a SECOND TIME in an hour.JUST LIKE THEY CLAIM, their wiring harness is ready for ANYTHING - even 2 new USB ports sitting in the glove compartment now.JUST LIKE THEY CLAIM - you can even hook up your existing BACKUP CAMERA - THAT was a SURPRISE BONUS !JUST LIKE THEY CLAIM - your radio will be BETTER !MORE BONUSES:- When I bluetoothed-my Galaxy S22 FE to this unit, the 3D SATELLITE DISPLAY OF "MAPS" APPEARED - I'VE NEVER SEEN IT LOOKS SO GOOD - NOT EVEN ON MY PHONE - AMAZING. ONE of these days I'm going to get into an ACCIDENT 'CUZ I'm STARING at how COOL this 3D SATELLITE GPS VIEW IS on my cool new headunit.- The RADIO now works GREAT !!!ONLY DISLIKES:1. It came with a "lavalier" microphone with plenty of cable, but it's an OMNI-DIRECTIONAL microphone, instead of a UNI-DIRECTIONAL microphone. This means it PICKS UP all kinds of ROAD NOISE and everyone who hears me try to talk on absolutely DESPISES the sound of my voice on this. Whatever noise cancelling it might have is CRAP - YOU MUST REPLACE THIS WITH A $19 UNI-DIRECTIONAL LAVALIER MICROPHONE and then it will be AMAZING.2. I can't for the LIFE of me (even with a BS in AEROSPACE ENGINEERING, an MS in ROBOTICS and ANOTHER MS in CSci (AI) figure out how to set the GPS-driven "Default Theme" to display in MPH instead of KMPH - even when it's set to "Feet and Miles" :-(IF I could tear apart my GRAND CHEROKEE DASH I'd buy ANOTHER ONE and install it there too !ONE SATISIFIED CUSTOMER.Mark Vogt in North Aurora IL (yes I AM REAL and I AM pleased)

Well the direction are almost nothing and the wrong pics to boot. I found the same modle on a different amazon acct that had a video of some of the Install. The only thing it didn't show was the speaker wires. But after using all the wire harness I figured out it want (it's a 8 pin, but it goes into a harness like has 16pins I think right in the middle. Also the back up camera doesn't need con eted to the brown wire. Definitely would buy again. I just can't get the wifi to connect it says something about it can't when the Bluetooth is connected I haven't figured that out yet.

Great replacement for my 2013 JK Jeep.I used the wiring harness with the booster box .It connected to the original backup camera, the only wire I had to splice was power to the camera. The wire was marked from the radio wire.Mount is great and looks like it cam from the factory.Links to my IPhone Bluetooth nicely.Sound is better than original.Put two little notches in the bezel for the wire for USB connections( see picture)Does not block vents or window controlsVery happy with unit…. Great value.

Easy install. Everything works as advertised. Somewhat skeptical at the price point, but VERY happy. I turned it on prior to final placement and everything worked with minimal set up. more customizing looks etc. I was also concerned that I could never get it out if needed but the snap locking tabs let go with an even quick tug. Bluetooth connects easy and auto, sound is good,, display is great. I connect myh phone to the unit via the provided USB for charging and carplay. No photos.

Thought this thing was great when I first installed it. Bright, vivid, clear display and plenty of useful pre-installed apps. But then reality kicked in. There are no real instructions for operation, very limited and basic at best. Installation is pretty straight forward however for anyone that has installed car stereos before so that was easy. I have followed all the given operating instructions and have come to the conclusion that the steering wheel controls will not be usable from here on out. I have selected my make of vehicle, 2018 Jeep Wrangler, in the given settings menu and have gone thru all of the touch programming prompts, it will not sync with the vehicle. That's a disappointment but not a deal breaker. The main problem is I have had to reprogram the touch controls for volume, home, power and such on the left side of the screen 6 times now. The unit has only been installed for 4 days. Sometimes it'll work great for multiple trips a day then nothing, volume stuck at mid volume with no way to turn it up or down and no way to power off the unit or reset it without a full reboot from the main touch screen menu. All other memory programming seems to work flawlessly but the main controls constantly and consistently lose functionality. The only way to get it to work is to pull the unit from the dash and disconnect power or pull the fuse and start over. Frustrating and ridiculous. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.Amazon replaced the first unit. Now on unit number 2. Steering wheel controls work on this one but a few time a week upon start up it comes on at max volume which you can't turn down while its booting up. Very irritating and inconvenient. The wifi to link to android auto occasionally doesn't work so the unit needs to be rebooted. And now today the right rear speaker channel quit working. Checked all wiring, everything was good. Rebooted the stereo, low crackling sound. Progress. Rebooted again. Same result. Rebooted again, full audio from that speaker.These radios are junk. Even with the low price they are not worth the money, time, or frustration.
