STINGER Audio 1" High-Fidelity Car Audio Silk Dome Speaker Tweeter, 50W RMS/100W Max, 4 Ohm (1 Pair)

Put these in A pillars of my Chevy Cruze. The housing comes off so I could hot glue it to the factory tweeter base after I removed speaker and just solder to connections on the base and its plug and play. They sound really good too, especially with Atmos B on Tidal. Very clear, great value!

Decent cheap tweeters!

This absolutely deserves 5 stars. My stereo needed the crisp highs and these delivered. I love the fact it comes with the bass filters. I mounted them on my door panels. You do need to drill holes for custom install but you can just rig them if you don't care about esthetics.

I've always liked silk dome tweeters. I've always preferred however large 1 in silk dome tweeters. The difference is that larger silk dome tweeters have a lower residence and you can cross them over deeper. This Tweeter sounds good but there's definitely too much of one particular frequency and they're not super flat. I compared some cheap component speakers and switched out these tweeters with the original along with some JL Audio C5 tweeters and then compare it against my favorite Pearless/Vifa ring driven Twitter.If you have crappy stock plastic tweeters in these will sound much better. However, considering that I am an audiophile and an electrical engineer, these are not my favorite tweeters.In the picture I have the original tweeter on the left, my favorite Vifa Twitter then the JL Audio C5 tweeter and then the stinger, this tweeter.

The media could not be loaded. The build quality of these tweeters look pretty good. The functionality and fit is good because they are small and fit most places. The sound quality is good making these a good value for the money.

This is a nice solid PAIR of tweeters. They are well built and wire connectors are solidly attached. The package includes the flush mounting hardware and they can be adjusted omni-directionally in the turret mount. There are also a pair of inline capacitors that are used as a passive high pass filter to prevent low frequency from damaging the tweeters if you don't have any other filter network to remove low frequencies from the signal.The sound quality is good and it is capable of getting very loud on little power. I unfortunately won't be able to use them because I was hoping for a more drop in replacement for my F-150 and I don't want to modify the A-pillar to fit these.

I had a factory (upgraded audio system from the factory) and one of the tweeters went out. After checking the wiring to make sure nothing was loose, I turned it on and could hear a slight hiss, so I ordered these little guys to use one as a replacement and have a backup. I turned the bass all the way down, just had the front speakers playing and played a variety of music genre's and I could only tell a slight difference in sound quality (at mid to high levels). Primarily the level of clarity and precision at mid to high volume levels was I really able to notice the difference. But once I balanced all the speakers and brought the bass back in, it was pretty negligible. I'm guessing it's from the rated power/wattage of the tweeter vs. the audio system. All in all, it was a great replacement!
