I was so disappointed with this particular brand. It was way too oily. I shampooed before I put it on with baby shampoo, towel dried my hair, put on the Batana oil. It smelled like motor oil, it made my shower floor slippery because of all the liquid oil. Y hair looked and felt like I had just poured oil on my hair.I then proceeded to shampoo my hair two more times and hoped that when it dried it would NOT look oily, but it did look oilyand it still smelled like motor oil. I sprayed hair spray on it to make it look passable to run errands, but it still looked like I hadn't washed my hair in a long time. I can hardly wait to wash it a couple of more times tomorrow. I will NOT recommend this particular batana oil. I had been using a different brand that rinsed out perfectly and smelled really nice. Good luck if you buy this brand.

Very impressed with the regrowth of my hair

I recently purchased the Batana Oil and the accompanying shampoo set with high hopes for promoting hair growth. After reading numerous positive reviews, I was eager to incorporate them into my hair care routine. However, my experience so far has been less than satisfactory.I've been using the oil and shampoo diligently for over a month, but I haven’t noticed any significant hair growth or improvements in my scalp health. While I understand that hair growth can be a slow process and may require more time, I expected to see at least some results given the rave reviews I’ve encountered. On a positive note, my hair does feel softer, which is a nice bonus.It's possible that I might need to use the oil more frequently or adjust my routine to see better results. For now, I plan to continue using both products since I still have them on hand. I’m hopeful that with extended use, I might experience the benefits that others have described. The oil is going to last me for a while, and I don’t mind the smell at all—it’s quite pleasant.I will be sure to update my review if I see any changes in the coming weeks. For now, though, I can’t fully recommend this product based on my experience. If you're considering trying Batana Oil, keep in mind that results may vary, and it might take longer than expected to see any noticeable effects.

I’ve only used this for a short time but so far love it. I have long, coarse and very thick hair. I’ve struggled with split ends and breakage for years but after just a few uses, my hair felt softer, split ends looked smoother, more hydrated, and less brittle with reduced frizz. I’ve also been using it as a leave-in conditioner just on my ends before I blow dry & flat iron - works well, is lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it greasy.I can’t comment on if it reduces hair loss as I just haven’t used it long enough to be able to tell yet.Something to consider … it has a distinctive, earthy aroma that some may need time to get used to. Personally, I find it adds to the natural, authentic feel of the product.It’s a premium oil, so it’s more expensive than others, but the results for me are absolutely worth it!

For me personally this product has helped with retaining growth. I included pictures of my hair from October 13th (freshly colored) to October 30th. I don't recall ever having this much new growth in such a short amount of time.I expected the oil to be slightly thicker since it was in a jar and not a bottle but it actually has a pretty thin consistency. I keep my place pretty cold so it did solidify a bit. A little of this product goes a long way. I would get about a finger tip full, rub it together along my fingers tips and massage it into my scalp that way. Whatever is left on my hands I focus that on the ends of my hair. This jar will 4oz and I'll probably get another month of use out of it. Definitely try it out if you want something to help retain your length but also..GET THAT TRIM!!!

I am giving this product one star so I can leave a comment! I bought this product, and when I received it the jar was 2/3 empty. I happened to be going through something personal at the time, and forgot to return it...so I ended up using it. I liked everything about the Botana Oil, and my hair seems to have grown, and looks wonderful after just using a little bit of it! I am going to continue usage, and will buy it again...HOWEVER from a DIFFERENT company...so MAYBE I will get a FULL JAR next time!
