As a Locomotive engineer I had to get this candle for my wife just because it says it "SMELLS LIKE MY FAVORITE ENGINEER" she always says I'm her favorite engineer. It comes well packed and arrived without any damage. it burns evenly and smell really good. It would make a great gift

The media could not be loaded. Got this as a gift for a relative that is an engineer and who likes burning candles. I opened the box and examined and smelled it without lighting it on fire. A sticker on the bottom of the candle says it is a "Lavender" fragrance, but it smells similar to (yet slightly better than) Irish Spring bar soap when not on fire (for those who may not know, such soap has a sharp crisp fresh smell and is not at all a soft flowery smell like lavender is). I'm not sure what this candle smells like once burning and will have to wait for my relative to tell me such. It could very well smell like lavender once burning. After gifting this to such relative, I will ask such relative how it smells when burning and post an update to this review if the smell is different than as described above.The candle is small in size and it comes in a glass case in a small box with padding surrounding such so that it is safe in shipping (see video). The candle wax color is a very soft pure white cream color, consistent with it being made of natural soy wax, and the candle wick is white in color. For its small size, the price is very high. Because it does not smell like lavender and the price is high for its small size, I deducted two stars in rating it. Despite these things, it is still a great gift for engineers and I would recommend people consider getting this candle as a gift for engineers, retired engineers, and students studying to become engineers.

This would make a great gift for the Engineer you might know, whether they work on the railroad or in an office (such as a civil or mechanical engineer). Regardless, the candle is well made. Soy wax and a natural cotton wick means it burns evenly. Unlike cheaper paraffin wax, it melts evenly to the edge of the glass so it lasts much longer, up to 50 hours. The scent is a mix of lavender and eucalyptus and the best way I can describe it is a crisp, fresh scent. Don't take this the wrong way, but think of a masculine fresh smelling soap. That is sort of what it reminds me of, which means, it is a perfect candle to gift to men. When it burns, the scent is masculine and freshens the air. Comes in a nice gift box too.

Nice smell that fills my 15x15 office but not overpowering. The candle has been burning nice and evenly too. Must have if you're an engineer it has certainly helped brighten my mood on long projects.

A fun gift to give an engineer you know. It can be used for a number of occasions as a gift. The printing on the glass jar is sharp. Scent is subjective and I can be very picky about what I like. There are a number of variations for the lavender scent, I find this one a little strong. The candle is long lasting and you can find another use for the jar once the candle is finished burning.

I like it! Bought to giggle with my husband. The scent is lavender which I wish it stated in the title, it just kind of came as a surprise but I’m not complaining. I like the smell of lavender, not the artificial cleaning products kind but lavender essential oil kind. Which is nice. Hubby like it too!
