Good thick wax paste
I got this gilding wax for use with wax seals. If just gilding is needed then this is easier than painting or using markers to highlight your finished stamp.The wax paste itself is very thick and it is quite difficult to just get a small amount on your applicator. You do need to be careful with it as well as it goes a long way and does transfer to almost any surface if you don't keep a close eye on it - it will also stain your fingers and takes a good bit of scrubbing to remove it.There is also quite a strong smell to it. Not sure what it is but there is definitely a hint of bergamot in there as it reminds me of my sons shaving soap. Either I have got used to it or it has dissipated somewhat since I popped them in my storage tub along with my wax spoons as it is pretty subtle now.The colour payoff is really nice and I can see how this would work really well on larger projects as well, especially when rubbed in to wood. It does seem to dry down well and the three sample seals I made and highlighted using the wax have kept their colour really nicely despite being jumbled in a box of "finished" seals.Because I couldn't decide on which metallic shade I wanted to try out, I decided to get one each of the gold, silver and bronze. I am pleased that I did as they do have a lovely rich sheen to them and highlight nicely, I just need to practice on my application technique.

Easy to use, great results.
When I ordered this I was a little unsure that it would be as good as some of the well known brands I've used, but I wasn't disappointed and its really 'silvery'!
