Better than I expected
Wow, what a smooth experience. This gun really helps to make incredibly consistent caulk lines, much better than I expected. I needed to adjust mine at 25 psi to get the caulking I was using, and it works great. The gun actively releases all the air pressure immediately when I release the trigger, so stopping the caulk flow is instantaneous. I'm never going back to manual caulk guns, this is way much better. The gun itself feels extremely robust, made of quite heavy metal, and obviously of very high quality. I'm not worried at all that this tool will last a very long time.

This thing is awesome. I don't mind spending money on good tools and I was skeptical of this. I had to caulk an entire house with 3 piece crown molding with a low VOC caulk which is super thick. Not only would it have taken me forever, I would have ended up looking like a fiddler crab with one arm immensely larger than the other. This tool delivers a consistent flow and is effortless. It stops immediately when you release the trigger so no lingering slop. The only minor complaint (and it could be the way it's designed) is that there is pressure loss around the screw on cap. Does not affect performance or flow but it will minimize the amount of psi in your compressor requiring it to kick on more frequently. I solved this problem with a few passes of pipe thread tape. I am so glad I bought this tool. I recommend getting an adjustment knob for a few bucks so you can regulate flow without adjusting PSI. I did not have any of the mess in the bottom of the tube associated with some other reviews. My suspicion is that the caulk tube is more to blame than the tool. With the caulk I had I had my compressor at 50 psi and no mess whatsoever. I am sure lighter caulks would be fine at 20 psi.
