Musiclily Pro Auto-Split HSS Loaded Pickguard ST Prewired Pickguard with Artec Alnico 5 Single Coil Humbucker Pickups for American/Mexico Import Squier Strat Electric Guitar, 3ply Aged White

Everything sounds good and it was almost a perfect drop-in replacement for my wife's Indonesian Squier Bullet Strat, I was a little worried about the 5-way switch, but it barely fit into the 1.5" thick body, I had to sand down the shielding paint a bit so that when I added copper tape it didn't touch the switch (I added some electrical tape as a precaution). I did end up having to fill all of the holes and re-drill with a self-centering bit just because things didn't quite line up 100%, but that's probably because I'm building up a slightly smaller bullet strat. I've put in more than the guitar is worth at this point with mods, but I've also taken the time to properly set things up for once so it sounds great and looks amazing. I've also added copper tape shielding, new string trees, a black Tusq nut, locking tuners, a 36mm solid brass tremolo (a 40mm would have been too thick for the guitar body), and a pure tone multi-contact output jack. I've never worked on a guitar before, so setting it up after building was a learning experience when adjusting the truss nut, string heights, intonation, etc.One minor issue I've had with the humbucker is that the adjustment screws are very soft and one has already started to strip even when I've been using the proper screwdriver to adjust it. So just be careful when making adjustments.The loaded pickguard from Musiclily also included multiple extras that they didn't even mention like a set of black screws to match the pickguard, a new output jack, pickup covers, and tone/volume knobs in different colors which I thought were a nice touch. I could have saved a few dollars on a couple of extras if I had known, but I'm very happy with what I've ended up with.

I wanted to make a road worn looking guitar like Kurt Cobain Vandelisum Guitar. Easy too install, just a little soldering and some screws and you are ready to go. Sounds great in my opinion, however I am not an expert.

I had to cut and saw the plys near the bridge because it doesn't fit for Floyd Rose bridge. Still a great purchase though. Pickups sounded amazing.

Fit good, sounds good, liked the extra parts.

I wanted to post pictures because I received so much with this loaded pickguard that I was blown away! Not only is this a very high-quality product, it came with two selections of spring cavity, back plates, an output, jack, two additional selections of pick up covers and a selection of selector switch covers. These were in addition to what was already mounted on this pick guard. I have been doing this for quite some time, and I frequently purchased loaded pickguards for upgrades and modifications on guitars for clients and myself. This is the first time I have purchased a Musiclily loaded guard. I haven’t even mounted this onto the Guitar yet and I can already tell that the quality of the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. I would expect this from any other high-end product price point makes it even better. I will try to post another review once I install. I am sending the pictures out to friends and clients because I want them to see why I will be using more of these in the future. Kudos Musiclily! Been using your products for a long time, and this is just another verification of what excellent levels of QC and commitment to creating good products.

Ordered this loaded pickguard as an upgrade for my 2023 Squier Strat. I wanted to replace the white guard with black, plus I wanted better pickups and controls.When I installed the pickguard, it went in smoothly. Everything, including all 11 holes, lined up perfectly. Once everything was installed, including the new output jack they included, I plugged it in. Unfortunately, barely anything worked. That was troubling. Not wanting to mess anything up, I took it to a professional repair shop. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem. The 5-way switch had been connected improperly at the factory. That was troubling though because in the ad they brag "Hand-built by experienced technicians in-house, we choose premium parts from trusted resource, focus on every detail during wiring and testing, we take pride in our work...". Apparently not with this one.For the additional $45 and round trip to the repair shop, my guitar is now sounding better and looking sharper than ever. I would have given 5 stars if it had not been for the quality problem from the manufacturer.

This is an amazing pre-wired pickguard for the price. Comes with a lot of extra bits for customization. Two nitpicks - the humbucker is creme and black. So changing the color of the single coil covers will always clash. The jack is already soldered. This makes no sense because you would have to fit the output jack through the guitar which is impossible. They need to leave it unattached.

This is a quality wired pickguard and it comes with a box full of goodies. The humbucker is very powerful while the singles are a little weak, not too bad. I can drop the bucker down to compensate but it sounds more kick a** with it up close the the strings. Pretty happy with this and only $80!
