I have found my new PERFECT case.
First off, the phone case industry is so messed up. You only ever hear about a few major brands that are always discussed, and they ALL SUCK. Cheap materials, expensive prices. I give my respect to the many good, hardworking people at those companies, but it's so messed up that you have to dig REALLY deep to find any brands that are not partnered with the major phone manufacturers. I bought the new Pixel 9 Pro XL but was extremely disappointed that Caseborne didn't make a case for it. I even considered sticking with the Pixel 8 Pro *specifically* for that reason.I especially hate the new ultra-thin phone case trend. What am I supposed to do with aramid fiber, touch it and look at it? I want a case, not a sticker.Through HOURS of digging I found Supcase. There was an extremely bad review here on Amazon, so I was hesitant. I thought about it for a few days and then decided to just try it, as it's $20-$30 cheaper than any of the comparable cases I was looking at.I have now put the case on and am EXTREMELY happy. The screen protector is great, does not require any user skill (haha) not to mess up the installation (it's attached to the front case, and you literally just put it on), and causes NO issues with the P9P series' new ultrasonic scanner (I was having issues with my previous screen protector!). The case is comprised of a front piece and a back piece with raised lips and provides actual PROTECTION. I *absolutely* believe the 20ft drop claim. The Magsafe ring works!!! I tested it with my battery pack, and the charging positioning is even easier to get right than my previous Caseborne case. And the magnet is very strong too! For my previous Caseborne case, if I shook my phone hard enough, I could easily shake my battery pack off. But I tried shaking this case as hard as I could, and the battery pack stuck!Yes, it would be nice if the stand could also support a vertical view, but that's probably the only missing feature for me, so I really can't complain. Plus, I'm going to buy a stand elsewhere to stick it on for vertical display anyway, so it's a moot point.I agree with the bad review in that the case is somewhat slippery, but it is definitely not hard to hold despite me having bumbling butterfingers (the whole reason why I care so much about protective cases in the first place). It's very easy to hold. And if you absolutely *need* a very grippy texture, you can just buy some grippy stickers to put on the edge anyway. The part of the bad review that is really off in my experience, is the ring being flimsy and hard to use. They said it's flimsy and requires a lot of force, but mine is the opposite. Maybe theirs is defective? Because I really can't see it at all. The ring is very sturdy, and it VERY easily opens and snaps close. Not much force needed at all.I've never really used any phone holster before, so having it doesn't really affect me, but it's cool. I tried putting it on, and it is VERY secure. Plus, it fits both upside down and right side up, so you can use whichever orientation you like for the clip. Maybe I'll try using it if I travel somewhere known for pickpocketing. But the hook is shaped in a way that really helps fasten the holster to whatever you're putting it on. And since the holster cover is on the front of the phone, the back camera is free to record video while you attach the phone onto something - I might actually try using the holster for that purpose. If I HAD to improve something besides what's been discussed, then *maybe* I'd like a very slightly higher lip around the back camera. But that's only for protection freaks like me, and there's already a textured lip that I feel fully comfortable with. Also, note that they did not abuse Amazon's listing system by just altering a previous listing so that this new case starts with thousands of reviews right off the bat. They use a brand new listing instead as they should, and they did not get that 1 star review removed or anything.Oh and the only imperfection for me - you can faintly see the circle for the fingerprint scanner when you're playing video or something. That's it. If that's the cost for making the fingerprint scanner 100% reliable, then I take it in a heartbeat.Thank you so much Supcase - this case literally prevents me from regretting my upgrade to the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Please don't stop making phone cases in the future, because it'll be really nice to not have to spend hours looking for cases next time I buy a new phone.

Fantastic in every way, and fits better than the Otterbox Defender!
I have always bought the "Otterbox Defender" for my previous phones, and I again bought one for my new "Pixel 9 Pro XL". However, this time "Otterbox" messed up. The two parts of the "Otterbox" did not fit together propperly. The frame that is clipped to a belt was poorly designed. It could not secuely hold on to the phone case, thus making it impossible to safely wear the phone clipped to my belt! I bought the "Otterbox" at a local Verizon store, so I returned immediately. They were puzzeled by what we were seeing. They opened another box and it had the same problem. So, I just bought a cheap case until I could find something that would work like I expected it to.Actually, I now consider this inconvenience to have been a blessing because I found the "SUPCASE"! The "SUPCASE" fits securely like it should, and it's price is much lower than the "Otterbox"!It has a very strong "MagSafe" compatible kickstand on the back, but it is limited in its function. However, there are lots of "MagSafe" accessorries available. I found a very versitile "MagSafe" kickstand that holds so tightly that I really have to use some muscle to separate it from the "SUPCASE"!The "SUPCASE" comes with a screen protector that I did not want, but the instructions explained that it would come off by soaking the case in hot water, which I did successfully.I really like this case, and recommend it highly.

Good case, disables functionality.
As a case its great; great fit, nice stand, Durability is great.Functionality: Wireless charging is not capable as explained. Also if you clean then inside of the front cover the Fingerprint area will peal, get dust stuck to it and become unuseable. Not nearly as good as the preivious Unicorn Beattle ultra cases.

NOT MAGSAFE COMPATIBLE! Buttons are not great nor raised enough!
TLDR: 2 layer case good protection, MAGSAFE DOES NOT WORK, buttons dont feel good, poor kickstand. My prerequisite for a case is that it is two full frame layers that go AROUND the corners. This case mostly covers that aspect. It does feel very protective. I think I've dropped it a time or two and my Pixel 9 PRO XL has been fine. The belt holster case is also nice.I can ALSO say that the stupid built in screen protector came off pretty easily when I soaked it in hot water. I then put on my own glass screen protector, which is a must have for me.UNFORTUNATELY, I have TWO magnetic charging pucks and I CAN NOT get the magsafe to continue charging the phone. It starts charging at about 6 or 7 watts but then after a couple minutes it just stops charging. I have NOT TRIED this case with the Pixel Stand 2. I have two non magsafe wireless charging stands and neither of them will charge the phone through the case.I guess some phones that have magsafe will just stick to a metal wall like a refrigerator, this case will NOT STICK TO A METAL SURFACE.Additionally, I dislike the buttons quite a bit. If you want inset buttons that are hard to find and dont have a good clicky feeling, then this case is for you! I want my buttons to stand out further and be easy to click with a satisfying click feel. This case does not have that. Finally, while the ring does pop out allowing for the phone to stand up in landscape mode, I NEVER USE MY PHONE IN LANDSCAPE MODE! I really wish the phone had a portrait kickstand.Unfortunately, this phone is a fail for me.
