SWNKDG Universal Aluminum Spool Head Nylon Mowing Trimmer Head 3.0mm for Petrol Cutter Grass Trimmer

I had my doubts with this but having tried a three bladed brush cutter, a 40 tooth brush cutter and having gone through 15m of bump feed strimmer line in an hour I thought it worth a try.It is excellent, it bolts on in the same way as a strimmer / cutter blade using the same bolt that most petrol strimmers have with them, I have a Parker Brand 60cc.After I adjusted the line lengths so that they were as long as the strimmer would allow, (shorter length and a longer length through each hole), I blazed through, long grass, 10 inch depths of ivy, a small holly bush and a mass of undergrowth. It powered through it all and disintegrated everything with ease, performed without fault for a full tank.A few points to note;- Make sure you close your mouth and wear eye protection as this really turns the petrol strimmer into a tornado of destruction for the garden.- Get some extra heavy duty square or spiral line as there are only four lengths that come with it and they probably will not last for ever.

Unfortunately my machine wasn't quite powerful enough to drive 4 cords, however I reduced it to 2 and it is fine,very easy to change cords, pleased with the overall performance.

Very pleased with this. I have a reasonably large "Timberpro" petrol brush cutter/strimmer and was completely fed up with the fol-de-rol of replacing strimmer line when it snapped or wore down. I invested in a pricey after-market tap-to-feed spool which turned out to be more complicated than it was worth, and ineffective to boot. So I bought one of these and am so glad I did. First things first: there are no instructions with this spool head, not a word. It's obvious enough how to fit it however. Also, the machining is quite crude so on first assembly and fitting I applied a generous coating of grease to all metal-to-metal surfaces, and suggest that you do too. None of this should put you off, this is a good bit of kit. I purchased some the heavy-duty twisted line available on Amazon and fitted that, however you can fit pretty much whatever line you wish, you simply cut two lengths and fit them in a cross pattern and tighten a single allen-head screw and you're done. The head comes supplied with some line but I didn't use it, it looks ok though. I used a whole tank of fuel to demolish a very rough patch of ground overgrown with waist-high weeds and the head performed faultlessly, at the end of which I needed to change the line which again was no problem at all. Recommended without hesitation.

Just to let anyone know - if you are thinking of buying this for a strimmer STHIL fs 50c it doesn't fit, so don't waste your money. But the piece looked well made and if you find a strimmer that it fits I think it would be very useful.

Works well. No autofeed that does not work! I will not go back to auto feed strimmer cable. Easy to fit

Great replacement for the plastic feed head. Used it for a full tank of fuel and apart from the usual wear was perfect. Would buy another.
