Super fun decor, but not durable for play
My son was thrilled to get this over the door hoop with his favorite NBA team. However it did not last more than 48 hours before a 5 year old cousin dunked the ball and the hoop broke off of the backboard. Although I realize dunking is not the ideal sort of play, I did hope it would hold up longer than it did. I would say this is a great looking NBA fanatic piece of decor, but not for actual play. My son was so sad when the break occurred. We decided to replace it with a similar style from Franklin. The replacement just arrived and I can tell you without a doubt by the look and feel of the product it will hold up to much more play. So if you want a cool looking piece of decor, buy this, because it is cool looking. But if you have a child who wants to play with it, get something else.

beautfiul little plastic Celtics hoop
High quality painted colors, not a cheapo sticker.This is notably smaller than the average over-the-door hoop, as demonstrated in my photo. Both the backboard and hoop diameter are smaller here.We don't use this hoop as the "beater hoop". We relegate the daily abuse to a hoop that's larger, tougher with metal parts including a metal rim. But this fancy Celtics hoop goes in their bedroom where they don't have the space to run around wildly.

A fun way to make an early fan
I got these for my 2 and 8-year-old nephews and installed them on their bunkbed. They come from a LA Lakers family, so this was a no-brainer. I was actually surprised by just how well both the hoop and balls are constructed. I don't foresee this hoop easily breaking, even after all of the bedroom dunks that my nephews are sure to have in the future.Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that loves the lakers and has young kids.
