The threadlocker arrived in a small grip-seal plastic bag, and it was immediately apparent that the bottles and the nozzles/caps on these are suspiciously similar to everyone's favourite brand of threadlocker. Plus the fact that they’ve coloured it red and designated it as 271 clearly means they’re intending on mimicking the Loctite 271 which is another low viscosity high strength and permanent thread locker.I’m not sure why the product listing’s description makes a mention of a medium threadlocker at one point, but to be clear there is only one type of threadlocker on offer here and that’s the red high-strength stuff that is essentially a permanent bond on most fasteners up to a massive size.As a test I gave the threadlocker a go on some spare nuts and bolts ranging from M3 to M8 and I had absolutely no trouble dispensing controlled amounts of the liquid with the thin opening in the nozzle. I did find that I had to leave it far longer to do the initial cure than the listing and the label on the bottle claim, it was closer to an hour and a half or two hours to get to the point that I wouldn’t be worried about affecting the strength of the final bond by touching the fastener. They did cure up just fine though and the connection between the nut and bolt is definitely in the territory of permanent and high-strength based on my attempts to undo them without heat.I don’t have the tools to check the breakaway & peak torque, but it feels comparable to other high-strength threadlockers I've used from a few brands. If you’re not particularly worried about having a certified and tested product with the TDS and MSDS sheets to back it up there isn’t really an issue with this stuff, it goes on easily, cures eventually and gives you a solid bond for metal-metal threads of all sizes.£16.98 or £15.28 after the current voucher is applied is absurdly good value for money for two bottles if you’re not looking for the genuine stuff, which is easily £20-£25 for a single 50ml bottle. For me as a hobbyist and DIYer this stuff feels more than strong enough for my applications and I haven’t seen any real downsides of using this compared to a name-brand version other than the slower initial cure time.

If you have cars and bikes this stuff always comes in handy. Usually it comes in tiny bottles and comes out of the nozzle too fast.This 271 thread lock comes in a generous sized bottle and has a mechanism in the bottle which allows very controllable application. You have to unscrew the white bottle top then lift up an internal plastic flange before the fluid starts to flow.The thread locker comes in two strengths, high strength and low strength. The high strength is described as being for the permanent locking and sealing of threads up to M36 with gap filling , anti-rust, temperature resistant and oil resistant properties.A very useful product to have in your shed or garage.

This stuff is an essential but often overlooked part of any bike maintenance toolkit that can increase the reliability of handlebars, brakes, pedals, seat posts, saddle rails, derailleurs. Blue thread lock (which is what I ordered) is medium strength and will stop loosening of any adjustable component due to vibration while still allowing bolts to be adjusted and removed as per usual. There is an option to buy Red, which would be suitable for anything that won’t need adjusting again (crank bolts?), I ordered the Blue as it will be more useful.

This bottle of lock tight thread lock glue is good quality and easy to use. It works well and it sets quickly. The adhesive is very strong and secures bolts strongly. This large bottle is good value and a little goes a long way. This size bottle should last you a long time. I'm very pleased with this thread locking glue.

Really big bottles of thread lock, and a great price for the size.medium and high strength so covers most jobs. The lids of the bottles are also easy to use and stay clean in use.
