Ehh...it seems easier to blow in a straw you can replace. This one you wind up spitting all over the thing anyhow.I've found it to be quite inaccurate, both in a test-by-test comparison and vs another inexpensive ($40) portable device. That other one may not be perfectly calibrated, but its consisten in its readings. This is not..02 or .08 back to back readings...bleh. if it wasn't so cheap I'd return it.

This seems like something to have just to be extra safe. I decided to test it. I drank 3 mouthful of tequila on an empty stomach. I waited 20 minutes, and I could clearly feel that I was in no condition to drive. I tested the breathalyzer 4 times. The first time, I put my mouth on the device and blew (not the way the directions require). I blew a 0.00. Then I did 3 tests blowing from about 1 inch away. I blew a 0.08, 0.05, 0.08. In all three tests there was an arrow pointing to the green "Safe".I can't speak to everybody's tolerance, but I could feel slight disorientated and balance issues. I should not be driving, and 0.08 is a DWI in my state, meaning that I could suffer legal consequences for driving like that.All in all, I feel like the data is probably accurate so long as you multi-test and assume the highest is the correct, but despite the disclaimers in the manual, I feel it worth taking off a star to describe being at a DWI level of inebriated as "Safe". Might mislead people into thinking they should be driving in such a condition.

Works great! Great price. Easy to use. I like that you can charge it with a cord instead of using batteries and there's no mouthpiece to worry about germs. You can clean it with a swab between each use and you are good to go.

Easy to use and it's fairly accurate. Be sure to follow the instructions and you won't be disappointed.
