Solid performer at a decent price.
Setting up the Maidesite standing desk was straightforward and took around 45 minutes. I paired it with their 160x80cm desktop, which creates a solid surface, especially at the lower height settings. At heights ranging from c100cm to 120cm, the desk remains stable for typing and general work. However, there is noticeable wobble if you give it a good shake - can't really complain at this price point though. The motors are quick and relatively quiet. The whirring sound from the motor is not overly intrusive. I have sat on the desk and it raises and lowers with ease. I am approx 75kg.The included cable/plug holder is very flimsy (it is just a piece of metal which you need to bend in shape) - I replaced it with another item available from Amazon.Comes with casters too along with fixed pads. However, casters will raise the desk (including worktop) from c71cm to c76cm which made it too high for my sitting position without foot rest at ~5ft8.I recommend setting the collision avoidance to the highest sensitivity. If left at the default setting, the desk won’t stop easily when it encounters an obstruction (it chipped a bit off my windows sill without stopping on default setting!!).Overall, I would recommend this desk to friends and family.

Built like a tank
This seems like stating the obvious but just to be clear this standing desk frame comes without a top so you have to provide your own desktop. When the frame arrives you could be forgiven for thinking it does come with the top as it's so heavy, the box even recommends using two people to move it!Unpacking the components you can see why it weighs so much, all the metal pieces are thick and heavy duty, there is also a motor in each leg unlike some models which only have a single motor and a drive rod to each leg. The dual motors not only provide more power to lift a heaver load but also they are very quick and smooth.Assembly is straight forward but takes a little time and an extra pair of hands is helpful in places.Included with the fixing accessories are two types of fasteners for the desktop, depending on whether you have purchase the matching desktop from MAIDeSITe or you have provided you own desktop.Once fully assembled with the desktop fitted and plugged into a main socket the controls are easy to use and intuitive, there are 4 memory "buttons", it is a touch sensitive control panel, which can be pre-set to a specific height, manual up and down buttons and also a timer to remind you to stand after a period of time. The height movement is quick and quiet and it is easy to dial in the exact height you want. The desk frame comes with both flat feet and casters, so you can have the desk movable if you like, but the power lead is the limiting factor when it comes to moving.Overall, a very heavy duty desk frame which feels premium quality and is a pleasure to use.

Standing desk frame
A really good quality standing desk frame with adjustable heights. It has the ability to save 4 heights and it's easy to toggle between each of them with just a simple button press (touch as it's a touch screen).Relatively easy to mount the frame (no desktop included). The desk has a bright white colour, which is really sleek and nice to look at.The desk movements are quick and yet silent, allowing you to raise and lower the desk without making too much noise or waiting long times between one and the next setting. It's robust and allows typing without making the entire desk wobble even at really high heights.Comes with everything required to mount it, but if you need to fix a table top on it, you might need an electric screwdriver.I'm extremely satisfied with the product, would recommend and buy again for sure.

Industrial grade stand. Does not include tabletop surface.
This is a very impressive height adjustable stand but one must note that this DOES NOT come with a table top. The stand itself came packaged well and is very heavy indeed. I would say it is well over 20kg probably owing to the fact that the frame is heavy duty, has two motors and can take a maximum weight of 180kg. This really is an industrial grade stand. You can purchase the table top separately from MAIDeSITe directly ranging from 120cm to 160cm for around £90 to £130 respectively (less if you have a voucher). Fortunately, I had a spare desktop as the stand on my old desk had broken so I managed to retro fit mine, even though the holes were not in the right positions. Ideally, you would buy the same desktop, but it is impossible to fit your own surface if you are handy at DIY.I have found the stand to work perfectly and smoothly. I have not tried sitting on it, but I am certain it will hold my weight as there is not a hint of wobble unlike my old desk. Having a sit/stand reminder is useful but not particularly necessary for me as I tend to just change when position when I am feeling a little weary. The four heights are easy to programme and the table will take you straight to them with ease - be careful of any trailing cables underneath making sure they are free in the highest position so that you do not have any pulling which is more likely to damage your cables and equipment rather than the desk. There is a USB port for charging devices but I would have preferred a couple of sockets integrated into the desk and maybe a few more ports for this price. Even so, I really love this professional grade stand and, considering the price of stand + desktop is around £300 when you apply the current vouchers, it is still a reasonable buy if you want a desk which is going to last you a long long while.

The dual motor system allows for smooth and quiet height adjustments, and the oval leg design adds a stylish touch. With a load capacity of 180KG, this desk frame feels incredibly sturdy, even with multiple monitors and equipment on the desk. Assembly was straightforward, and the frame feels durable and well-built. It has really improved my productivity and comfort while working from home.
