Purchased together with Cleqee SAE to O Ring Terminal Harness, Quick Disconnect SAE Battery Extension Cable and an additional SAE dustproof cover.The above solar panel and Quick Disconnect SAE Battery Extension Cable are correct polarity match.The SAE RP Adapter and crocodile clip extension provided can connect a standard battery charger via the Quick Disconnect SAE Battery Extension Cable.Both the solar panel and Quick Disconnect SAE Battery Extension Cable can be permanently installed, but It is advisable to leave the solar panel and battery charger disconnected when running the car engine hence the need for the SAE dustproof cover. These items were purchased specifically for my 56 Toyota Prius T-Spirit hatch back. The solar panel is fitted offside, to the inside rear window and connected to the battery immediately below this and floor level via the Quick Disconnect extension cable which alows easy access for disconnection just by opening the rear hatch. This placement works well and causes no significant obstruction to rear view.

I've got this to keep a spare motorbike battery on a trickle charge In my shed.I've mounted to the outside and fed it through and so it keeps my spare battery charged ready to swap over when needed.It simple to use, seems well made and at currently £26.99 it's a fair price.Anyone looking for a cheap budget solar panel charger then this is definitely worth a look.

Great bit of kit & keeping are chicken battery on charge

You get a reasonable product for the low price. It was on offer when I purchased.Bit surprised that for a product semi dedicated to charging car batteries it advises against starting the vehicle with the solar panel connected. They mention voltage spikes may damage it. Why didn’t they add over-voltage protection to protect against this. Poor cheap design.

This solar panel is light weight but seems to be well made. It comes with a built in cable that has an SAE connector, there are also a pair of crocodile clips and a 12v cigarette lighter plug which have corresponding SAE connectors.The panel can be attached to a windscreen or the car body using the suction cups. I personally wouldn’t recommend putting it on the bodywork for risk of damaging the paint, but it’s an option if you are comfortable with that.The description says it is suitable for “car, truck, boat, lawn mower, motorcycles, trailer, dump trailer, tractor, RV, van, camper, ATV, utility vehicle” batteries. Many trucks and tractors will have 24v system and this charger is only suitable for 12v batteries so check before buying! So because of this inaccuracy it looses a star rating.

Attached it to a almost dead car battery with the clips, green light was on, all good. Left it for 3 days charging and NOTHING. still a dead battery. It hadn't charged it at all. Complete waste of time and money.
