If you are looking to replace your remote, this is perfect. However, I was looking for an additional remote (very few people need that). This isn't a good addition - my Hisense TV only recognizes one of these remotes for voice control, which rendered this as a second remote expensive but not very useful. I returned it and bought a much, much cheaper second remote (with numbers), which turned out to be a better plan. As I said, nothing is wrong with this remote as a replacement, just not a good additional one.

Husband lost the remote so we bought a new one. It worked as soon as I put the batteries in. It works great.

Bought some of the 12 dollar remotes and sent them back as they didn't work. Pulled this one out put batteries in it and boom it does everything the original did. Ran them side by side. For the U8N just save yourself the heartache and spend the extra. It's also heavy and well built like the original.
