keep in mind, in this highly inflated time, the price is reasonable, so does my expectation have to be. This doesn't appear to be a heavy-duty bag that will last you forever and ever. The material used doesn't inspire confidence. But I think it will last a few years. time will tell.about the size... I am 180CM, 80kg, US 9.5 boots, I can carry everything I need with it. I have no issues inserting my boots (ski or snowboard) into the compartment, still leaving a very usable space in the center main compartment. if I don't have a lot of stuff, I can put in my helmet. But if I have to carry lunch for my kids, then I can put the helmet on my head or just use the external mesh net. It certainly gives a lot of options!I like this layout, it is not as tall as those back-inserted boot setups. and it gives wider space, suitable for lunch thermal, etc. and you don't have to dig out things all the time.overall, I like this bag. Again my expectation (ratings) aligns with the price. There are professional bags, but they are also expensive. For us, we only need a bag that can carry things between home -> parking lot -> ski lodge neatly. this bag meets our needs without feeling overly qualified. I bought 3 of these bags. this one is for me, 2 of a smaller size for my kids.

This bag is perfect for ski season!! I had been using a basic boot bag for several seasons and needed something that was more conducive for travel. This bag fit the bill quite nicely. Boots are stored in individual pocket on either side, leaving the main compartment for all of my ski gear and accessories. I am able to fit multiple pairs of googles, ski pants, base layers, hat, gloves, handwarmers and more inside with plenty of room to spare. I am not a helmet wearer, but there is a designated compartment for a helmet (I keep my goggles in it). I appreciate that it can also be used as a backpack, which will come in handy for flights. The bag is well made and water resistant. As the season concludes, I will be able to store all of my dry accessories and clothing items inside as opposed to taking space in my closet!
