Why pay more for Bose?
I purchased 2 of the Altec Lancing 650 watt Soundrover Pro. I purchased the better quality stands for an extra $50 based on customer reviews. The ones that come free with the speakers can hardly hold this heavy speaker. These speakers are a steal for the price. I remember as a teen Altec Lancing were called "Voice of the Theater because they were the choice of Movie theaters. These speakers sound great ...so why pay double for Bose. They are not as good as Bose but close enough for half the price! I'm happy!

Good but not great.
Good for small gatherings, tends to get sloppy near the top end.

Love it. But I think it needs a remote

Faulty equipment
They sent me a radio that does not work unless it is plugged into the wall. This is supposed to be a tailgate speaker can’t use it correct correctly. If it only plays while plugged up, this is terrible customer service. On top of them sending me broken merchandise. They are taking their time to refund my money. They already received their merchandise back yet. My refund is delayed.

A must have
I've had this for about a month. This speaker system is very useful for parties and overall just about anything and conventions would recommend this to anyone and very easily to use and pair

its pretty loud
This speaker is pretty loud and sounds good doing it. Granted, it doesn't have the same sound quality as a Denon with Klipsch speakers but it doesn't have the price tag either. I like that it is Bluetooth and has a limited equalizer built in. The speaker itself is pretty nice. Now for the bad. The stand it comes with is pretty terrible. I am not sure if they knew this speaker would weigh as much as it did when they designed the stand or if they just didn't care but it's pretty flimsy. The microphone that it comes with is also pretty cheap feeling. I think the microphone is made as cheaply as possible. I'm not sure if it will work with other microphones either.

Excellent Speaker for Projecting Sound in Large Spaces
The Altec Lansing SOUNDROVER PRO 650 Speaker is a fantastic speaker if you're looking for a *large* powerhouse speaker that projects sound very effectively in a large room or space. This is not a little "use at home" type of speaker unless you have a large ballroom in your house. This speaker is *massive*. Don't get me wrong, it's portable, but it's big. It has wheels to move it around and a stand you can mount the speaker on to elevate it so the sound goes out further. The speaker sounds great - the husband hooked it up to a DJ setup and it worked well. The music came out rich and clear, and the spoken voices were not distorted and easily understood. The mixer panel on the back of the speaker has plenty of inputs, outputs, controls over volume, equalizer, reverb, level, lights, and even playback controls if you utilize the SD card or USB readers in the back. The speaker also comes with a wireless Bluetooth microphone, and Bluetooth-compatible devices can be connected easily. I had no issues connecting my iPhone to the speaker for playback and the sound came through fantastically. The light settings were also fun to play with - there are many options for the light cycle, and they add a little extra bling to the event. The speaker worked great in large ballroom and will likely be even better once we get a second speaker to daisy chain to it. That said, by itself, it's a powerful unit and perfect for our needs as is. Overall, it's a great speaker and we will likely get a second one to really fill out the sound in large venues.

Omg I love it
I needed a PA speaker for vocals as well as for use in Live performances and also as a monitor for studio recording. This speaker definitely fits the bill.It looks fantastic, the RGB around the sub is a nice touch too. It has every feature you could want, Bluetooth, SD card, 1/4" TRS, XLR in & XLR out, RCA, you name it. It has an onboard EQ which is very welcomed, and even includes a microphone (not a great one) and a good stand to be able to properly mount the speaker on, which I wasn't even expecting when I ordered! Sweet right?!Also I'm happy to report that the sound quality is superb. My vocals sound cristal clear and I'm able to add reverb to my voice right from the speaker which is awesome. The guitar tone is fantastic, and while I mic my Hot Rod Deluxe amp up, into a mixer and then out through this speaker, I could skip that all together and just hookup my mic and my guitar both to the speaker directly and use it as a guitar amp which is amazing when wanting to play live but travel light.I am very impressed by both the sound quality, and how loud this thing can get, VERY loud. I okay at home on it with the volume on 2. Haha. Plenty of headroom for a live gig. And I've noticed no distortion or breakup at higher volumes either. This is a great value for the live performer or amatuer musician. Or even as a Bluetooth speaker for a house party. It's a incredibly flexible all rounder speaker/monitor that I can easily recommend to any musician or music lover. 2 big thumbs up. I'm in love with mine the value is superb, honestly.
