Home Phone
This album takes a very serious approach to the genre/concept being headed by pc music/djent-hardcore musicians- which is that the teenage future is Not smart smartphones (brat, nex gen, love letter 5, outer peace). It fantasizes about a world from the very early 2000s where a teenager might be given a home phone, a cd collection, and a computer to browse/research with. It's super neat, and it bathes you in the kind of technology the original scream teens had. It's a really cool aesthetic, and it may be the future as well - ("what was the last thing you...?"). Definitely get this one if you can-it's such a cool disc that Does feel a bit Behind the deadline

Masterpeice!!!
I can NOT get enough of Poppy!!! This is SO heavy, and times, a little poppy, but not much!!I've LOVED all her stuff so far, but this one's the best!!! Just buy it now, think later. You won't be doing any second guessing if you made the right choice!!You'll absolutely love this if you loved Flux and Zag. This ones heavier though, so I like it best.

Great album
CD comes in card stock case with full color booklet including lyrics. This is a great album. I listen to a lot of metal harder that this, but I really enjoyed the single VAN she did with Bad Omens so I wanted to try it. The album is very consistent and well paced. There is one synth pop track at #5 that is a bit different from the rest, but I really liked that one too.

Her Appearance Stole My Heart, and Her Music Became an Instant Favorite
Poppy’s Negative Spaces is a true gem and one of the most exciting discoveries of the year. The diversity of tracks on this album is nothing short of impressive, showcasing her unique artistry and genre-blending mastery. After just one listen, I was so captivated that I immediately ordered it on vinyl.PS The overall quality of the cover and the vinyl itself is simply excellent compared to many other manufacturers. A digital version of the album is included.

The stylistic diversity plays more like a soundtrack
While each song plays to a thematic through line for the album, it jumps from more EDM inspired-pop on "Crystalized" to punky thrash with "The Center's Falling out" or industrial "They're All Around Us" - thus being more like a soundtrack than a typical album. Each track is pretty solidly crafted. Personally, I lean more towards the metal and the screaming, but there are good things to be found in more pop-alternative songs like "Vital".

Poppy's Best
Loud, fast, chaotic, melodic, pulsating, trance-inducing. This album runs the gamut. By far her best album and that is by no means meant to denigrate any past efforts. This a great evolution in her artistry.

Every album Poppy releases is better than the last.
Great album and great sounding/looking vinyl. Plus it includes a download card for lossless WAV files of the album which is always cool.
