Surprisingly good and rich sound for a portable/rechargeable radio. DAB reception works well and controls are easy to get used to. I like the unfussy appearance of the radio and the dark charcoal looks good. Its always hard to know how a portable will sound, but trust me this one is great!

Very good stereo sound (yes I know its across a small area but it still sounds great in comparison to mono!) and excellent flexibility with dab / fm / aux / Bluetooth options. After a lit of research I think it has a far better spec at much better value compared to all other brands around this pricr.Two other things to mention - the first I had was faulty (a one off I'm sure!) & they replaced* this the very next day without any quibble:- very impressive customer service.Secondly, I needed some headphones & having heard the sound quality of the radio & seen that they did phones also, I ordered a pair & they are amazing for the price! - fantastically deep & smooth bass but also nice clarity & crispness in the mid range & high frequencies - I'd definitely recommend these products & this brand!

Just received this bang on time advised. Well packaged and in perfect condition. Have played around with it and it work great. Paired blue tooth easily and all the controls are easy to use. Worth having the book to hand until you get used to all the functions. Only just put it on charge so cant comment on charging times or battery life. As for durability its seems very well put together and robust. Will be using this day to day in my job and also for holidays.

Didn't change time from BST to GMT so wouldn't touch it!! Poor sound quality in larger rooms. Will buy elsewhere its cheap for a reason

The good points: very nice sound, battery life excellent, Bluetooth connectivity very good, FM reception very good, DAB reception OK.The bad points: the radio controls lock up frequently, needing a hard reset (method for doing this is not mentioned in the not-so-good manual. I eventually figured out that pushing a matchstick into the AUX socket in the back presses onto a microswitch). When the radio controls are locked up, the built-in clock goes haywire, meaning that the alarm function of the radio cannot be relied on. The random lock-ups occur whether the radio is on (it keeps playing but cannot be switched off!), in standby mode or actually off, on mains power and on battery power. Contrary to some reviews, a hard reset does not seem erase my preset channels or settings.I have not bothered to send it back as I cannot find another radio with equivalent features at a reasonable price, and a replacement radio might well have a similar problem. The lack of alarm function does not bother me. The hard reset is a minor inconvenience (at least for me).Other than the lock-up issue, I am pleased with the radio.I am very happy with the radio except

I bought this from Amazon warehouse with damaged packaging. On arrival it didn't have a charger / lead, or handle, or aerial. I phoned the UK manufacturer and they sent the missing items to me next day. Actually the radio is excellent. The sound on digital still pixelates in the evening though. Bluetooth etc is superb. I found later it had a rechargeable battery fitted when I unplugged the radio and it continued to work

Just BLOWN-AWAY by this BRITISH product!!!I’m in-love!!! As well as a DAB radio it works as a really high-quality Blue-tooth speaker system and can also take wired-input via an Aux input. Also it can charge your phone or tablet. One of the best features for me is that it is rechargeable which makes it completely portable in every way.
