I found the best way for the buckwheat ramen to remain intact. Bring water to a good boil. Then shut off the heat. Add a package of ramen to water and cover for 8 minutes with the heat shut off. After about four minutes use a fork to slightly break apart ramen. Re-cover with lid for remaining four minutes and drain noodles. You can use some boiled water in a bowl and season before adding noodles to boiled water or before draining. Delicious! Taste and texture is great. No spoon needed. *Awesome gluten free option.

This buckwheat ramen is pretty average, maybe just a bit below in terms of flavor (basically none) but ramen exists mostly as a neutral canvas on which to pile toppings. I made it with some vegan broth mixes I had and it was okay but you definitely know it's health food.

The noodles tasted fine, however, in a few minutes in the bowl of soup, it breaks up in pieces; you HAVE to eat it with a spoon! I like my noodles in long strands, not like baby food pieces!

It's nice having ramen of a higher quality in the house, this is great for tossing in a bowl of broth and veggies and bam, soup. Way less guilt than opening one of those $.25 packet ramens, you know the ones.

It is incredibly fast and easy to prepare. I added it to a ceramic bowl, poured boiling water over it, and in 5 minutes it was ready to eat. I loved that the noodles never stuck together (something rice noodles are very bad about - becoming a huge glob). You can adjust your cooking time for a firmer bite (al dente).There is no disgusting aftertaste, and the flavor itself is very mild - allowing your other ingredients to shine.So happy to find a ramen that did not have rice, corn, or potato starch as its main ingredient. I loved this so much that I am looking into other products made by this company.

I was not the biggest fan, it had a couple of packets in there so you could make ramen a couple of times with it, but I wasn't a fan of the texture and taste.

They’re decent noodles, but you need to make/have your own broth because all these come with are the noodles. The noodles themselves don’t have that springiness and chewy texture that you expect from ramen noodles.
