Expensive means quality... the £20 one lasted 6 months. This one is gorgeous and robust. Very happy

Useless
Bad design. There is no give in the bolts compared to other mixer taps I have installed and this meant I could not install it tight enough meaning the hot valve leaks all over the place when you switch the water back on. I have tried several wrenches and even a thin one could not get it done, luckily I could get it loose (as it seemed very tight and wouldn't move for a while to loosen).I re-installed my old one in the mean time (which does not leak) and will look for a replacement on Amazon from a different brand. When I compared the mixer taps it's clear on close inspections that even on simple cheaper ones the bolts sorts of come out of the sockets on the back off the tap meaning you can easily wrench both valves in tightly.Disappointing from such a famous brand.You can probably install it if you don't use the wall cover caps but that would cause other problems and look ugly.

Great Grohe quality but the lack of temperature protection means this not suitable for families it young children.
