I purchased several of these for use at Airbnb properties. They are for my cleaning crew to use. The pump works ok if you want to clean debris larger than .25 inches. It does not work for sand or small dirt particles.The pump is also impossible to clean once the screen (bag that catches debris) is full. 7 of 8 pumps purchased broke while trying to get the screen out and are are useless.The last pump I purchased was bent when delivered and impossible to use. A general note is that when you receive the pump it looks as if someone did a terrible job at repackaging these. Half of the orders had boxes that were opened at one end with the pumps sliding out.Overall, not worth the money.

This works decently for picking up any dirt at the bottom of the spa. Its easy to install and sturdy. The suction is pretty decent too and it seems to work, but you have to manually do it.

Does the job perfectly to keep our 8 seat hot tub clean. Easy to use and suction works great.

The media could not be loaded. I basing this review a 3 only because they sent me a used product that I plan on sending back to exchange for a new one. If I’m going to pay for a new product then I’m expecting a new product. If it’s used then I want a discount and I’ll decide if I want to buy it or not? But it is why I gave it a 3. Since I had already gotten the product I figured I would at least try it to see if I like it. We’ll I own a galvanized pool tank and it’s really not all that dirty but it does get dirty sometimes. I tried it out and it worked pretty well for me. So as far as performance I would give it a 5 because I’m happy with the performance of it not happy that they shipped me a used one. Maybe I can call and they can give me a discount if I just keep this one? I hate going back and forth.

This works buy you pulling on the plunger rod and it intakes water/debris through the nozzle with a screen trap behind it. The water is then expelled on the downward motion with the debris trapped in the filter and you repeat. The screen is fine enough to filter out sand. It is not at all difficult to remove and clean for me as another reviewer said, very easy and the filter seems durable. The plunging action works well without too much effort - the faster you pull the plunger the harder the suction. I have no problem doing a 6'x6' hot tub.It seems to be made well...except for a small problem with the one I got. My only complaint was the plunger stop. It looks like they put a plunger stop behind the plunger head (this is the part that creates the suction when handle is pulled, like a syringe drawing medicine) that does not stop the plunger head from touching the top of the chamber. The "stopper" was a metal pin that protrudes maybe 1 mm. Over repeated use without a stopper, this will eventually loosen/break the plunger head. I resolved it by wrapping electrical tape behind the plunger head to make my own stopper.I give it a 4.5 stars.

I use this pump daily to pick up leaves, dead bugs, etc. Has worked reliably for me for one year; just bought another to give to a friend. Does not pick up fine silt, but for larger particles works fine. I am also able to capture and dispose of live water bugs. A very good idea!

This thing literally barely works. Suction is terrible! It's big and akward and the main part has to stay submerged in order for it to work. I would be using this for an hour just on my little hot tub. To top it off, I returned it and they only refunded me $5.53!!!$%@#$ The piece of crap was like $50! You've been warned. I wish I would have listened to the bad reviews. I had just seen YouTube videos with similar pump vacuums and thought it would have been great for getting just the small sediment at the bottom of my tiny hot tub. What a joke.
