Just not good
My cell phone takes better photos than this and is a lot less bulky. The picture quality is terrible. If it had more manual settings where I can adjust for different environments, it might be a decent camera.As-is, the automatic settings are horrible. There is a lot of noise with the indoor pictures—which tells me that there is something wrong with the automatic ISO.It says 40 megapixels but it’s more like 10. I have a Sony Cybershot from 2012 that takes better pictures than this.I’m a reporter and use nice cameras. I bought this Minolta because I thought it would be helpful if I needed to get a quick shot and didn’t have time to get my big camera out.I’m really disappointed. Though this camera is easy to use, it doesn’t offer any features that other lesser-priced cameras can offer. If you don’t care about picture quality, get a cheap $20 camera—that’s what I would pay for this. Definitely no more than $30.

Not impressed with indoor picture quality
Nice weight and feel in hand (IYKYK) - unfortunately the indoor quality of the pictures were very unimpressive. I really wanted to love this camera, but for the price I wasnt impressed.

A cheap camera unworthy of the Minolta name.
A cheap camera unworthy of the Minolta name. The Minolta company from Japan stopped manufacturing cameras in 2006, and sold their SLR camera business to Sony. The Minolta name is now licensed to Elite brands which now uses the revered name on cheaper cameras.
