The lock has a substantial weight to it, and installation was incredibly easy, making the upgrade seamless.Functionally, it works flawlessly right out of the box. The Wi-Fi and Matter integration provide reliable connectivity, and the added benefit of a physical key option is a major plus. One of my favorite features is the ability to easily rekey all my locks to match, which is both convenient and simple to do.After seeing how well this lock performed, I quickly replaced all my other locks with Kwikset. Even if you’re not handy, you’ll find it simple to remove your old lock and fit this one.Getting the Halo Select connected to my Wi-Fi was quick and easy. Once I paired it with the Kwikset app on my phone, I could lock and unlock my front door from anywhere. My favorite feature is the ability to create access codes for anyone. I am even able to schedule codes to only work at certain times for my for my dog walker.What really impressed me is that this lock is future-proofed with support for the new Matter smart home standard. Knowing that the Halo Select can adapt to new tech means I won’t need to replace it anytime soon. It works great with my Alexa and also appears to work with Google Home, Apple Home and SmartThings.Last but not least, I chose this lock over others is because of the brand. Kwikset has a strong reputation for making high quality locks. Paying a little more to be confident that I'm buying the best lock to protect my home and my family is well worth the price and this product is built to last.I’m extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart lock!

It was easy to install, looks good, integrates into smart home apps, and smartkey was great. However....You can 100% see fingerprints on the keypad! There's no anti-smudge finish, so anyone can see which digits are pressed for the code!I rather liked it and would've given it 5 stars, however it's a lock. Its entire purpose is to keep people out. It's doing a bad job if any random person can see your code.You wouldn't buy a pen if it doesn't write. Do not buy this lock, it doesn't lock.

Well, it appears my 1st lock was defective. Wouldn't stay connected to wifi and touch pad unresponsive. Overall, very disappointed with a product with so much potential.Just installed my replacement unit and so far, works as expected. Wifi, touchscreen and features are working but will see if it lasts.Design is beautiful and seems to be well made. Kinda pricey compared to other locks with similar features. The quick rekey feature is very easy and nice to have.

The lock worked great and was easy to set up and install. I did need to restart the app and reset the lock to get it to connect to wifi. It errored out on that step a few times which was frustrating. The only other complaint is this was clearly not a"new" item. It had been opened and returned. The box contained all of the correct hardware, but the hardware bags had been opened.
