I installed this in my 12x14’ 3 season porch. It was easy to hang on the wall which came with a built in level on the template which was very helpful. The heater heated up the room very nicely.

This heater works really well. We needed an extra heater to use outside that is not a gas heater. This heater works great. Easy to install and project enough heat to keep people warm.

Infrared heaters do have their limitations. They heat objects and not the air..Thus in my example I am working on the workbench in the garage, heater is behind me, It is heating my back, but everything in from of me, my face, hands, torso is not receiving any heat.Yes if it keeps heating object long enough they will give off heat into the air.The distance is also quite limited, On this item the label says 6 feet or less, From my experience with this unit, that is about right.So NO this is not going to heat up a 2 car garage, not even a one car garage, It can do an ok job heating up the immediate space around your workbench. That is not a fault of this product, that is just the fact of a 1500 watt infrared heater.As for this product, It really is a very nice product, remote is super handy. (Well somewhat, but since it is recommended that you use it with a 6 foot area - you really would never be much farther than 6 feet away), Nice temperature adjustment and timer. Instructions say keep it level, It does not come with a stand and really has to be mounted on a wall, so not really portable. Personally I would prefer one that has a stand.

We do use this outside on our patio near our TV. It is semi enclosed and with just the 2 of us within 6 ft it works well but the warming spread is not much beyond that. It is built well and we love the remote control aspect. We do kinda wish it had a stand for using it on its side vertically. But we have it mounted in a spot that works well with the limitations and reach of heat. The auto detection and variable temperature settings with remote make it pretty fantastic. The size is good for install by not being overly cumbersome. Just maybe insufficient if have a wide open area.

I installed this in my shed and so far it’s working well. It was pretty easy to install with a drill and screwdrivers. The remote works and it is adjustable to have the heat directed up or down. This is nice because you have to install it at least 6 feet from the floor and 20 inches from the ceiling. I’ve only used it a few times but so far, so good. It takes a little longer to heat up the room than I expected but it does give off a lot of heat once it’s going.
