The AKASO V50X is a great little camera. I like the fact that it doesn’t break the bank and it takes great photos. I also love the fact that it is touch screen and easy to use by touching the features you are wanting right on the screen. It’s very lightweight and durable. It through the app you can download your photos or videos quite easily. The download speed is very good. This is a great functional camera and at a very affordable price. So gas I am very please with this camera. I also own the EK7000. Stay tune for the review on it as well.

The AKASO V50X offers good video quality for its price range. It’s reliable and easy to use, making it a great option for casual adventurers. The mic isn’t the best, but the camera’s overall performance more than makes up for it.

I thought for the price it is, it was gonna look terrible image quality, but i was suprised when it looks almost as good as a go-pro and is more user friendly then a go-pro, image stabilization is superb and the microphone while not being the best(as expected for a action camera, espcially for on this cheap) is suprising good and picks up noise very goodly. I will definatly be buying more from this company in the future. WAY better then go pro in my opinion.

I just bought my second Akaso V50X. I also have a GoPro Hero 10 and got the Akaso for "B roll." But, I actually find I use the Akaso a lot more. It is smaller, lighter weight, and the image and sound quality is great. Is the GoPro better?...probably, but I can barely see the difference. Over the summer I did a motorcycle tour of the Italian Alps. Most of the best footage I got was with my V50X mounted to my helmet.One other thing, my GoPro sometimes overheats and shuts down. I know that is a known issue with GoPro. I have never had that issue with my Akaso.I will admit, I don't love the app, but I really don't use it. I find it much better to just pop out the SD card and plug it into my computer. It is a better and faster way to transfer the files.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this camera to use on my bike, and while it didn't blow me away, it's acceptable for what I paid. The camera is capable of taking decent stills, so long as it stays relatively still and the lighting is good. Video is passable, but if you're moving at faster than a walking pace the microphone picks up nothing but wind noise. While the camera can technically take 20MP photos, there was no noticeable difference in detail between the 12MP and 20MP settings. I didn't even try taking 4K video - I stuck to 1080P.Since there are a lot of other reviews with pictures OF the camera, but very few with pictures FROM the camera, I've attached some images and video from my latest ride (with the camera mounted on my helmet). I started just after dawn, which is probably why the first two photos are blurry. The sun was fully risen when I took the last photo, and as you can see, it looks pretty good.In the end, I decided to return the camera because it kept forgetting the date and time, but otherwise I would give it a qualified recommendation.

I liked the video quality and the image stabilization. It came with a healthy amount of accessories. My only complaint is the sound quality but I'm not going to hold that against it for the price, I'll just get the auxiliary microphone. I would definitely buy this again!
